I purchased furniture from Valyou Furniture for three different properties with total orders exceeding $25000. The purchases included over ten bed frames, sofas, dining tables and additional home accessories. The website looks great the designs are nice and prices are always presented as discounted. However the actual quality of the products is average at best and in some cases below average. Within less than two years two Charm beds completely collapsed to the floor. One dining table broke. The sofas while still looking fine visually lost all structural support and now sink badly. I recently contacted the company for help because several beds literally broke. To my surprise Valyou Furniture refused to help stating that their warranty is only one year and my purchase was just two months outside the warranty period so they would not offer any support. A piece of furniture meant for daily use especially at this price point offering only a one year warranty raises serious questions. What does that say about the companys confidence in its own products. Very disappointing experience. Nice design but poor durability and disappointing customer service.

I purchased a Feathers Sectional 110 from Valyou, which arrived in Mario Capasa-branded packaging with their documentation. After a single, gentle wash (exactly as instructed), the covers were ruined — a problem that’s widely reported across forums and reviews. When I contacted Valyou, they refused to honor the warranty and redirected me to Mario Capasa. After going back and forth for over a year, Mario Capasa’s team finally acknowledged the product and discussed a $299 replacement cost — but the covers were never in stock. Since then, the price has silently increased to over $800, and I’m now being told that I “declined” an offer I was never able to act on. Both companies are passing the blame and refusing to take responsibility for a clearly defective product. I now have a high-priced couch with destroyed covers and no support from either the retailer or the manufacturer. Avoid both Valyou and Mario Capasa if you expect honest warranty support or any accountability for defective goods.

I would give 5 stars based off the staff delivering the item. However, Valyou’s incessant delays for shipment and lack of communication on why the delays happened make me want to give them one star as a whole. My shipments were supposed to be delivered in early July and didn’t arrive until mid September, with no clear reasons of why that occurred and a hefty cancellation fee to opt out. I will not be purchasing from Valyou in the future.

I received my chaise lounge/love seat combo yesterday. The chaise is super comfortable, but the love seat feels like I'm sitting directly on wood. The chaise is also higher/taller than the love seat. When I contacted the chat line, I was told they don't handle the "extension" and she can't find my order. Really? I just got it yesterday. Apparently, even though I paid Valyou for the furniture, I'm supposed to contact another company? Designer something. That's BS. In response to the reply: why would the customer service rep not try to collect more info from me? Why would she try to blame another company? I was using the chat on your website--how is that not contacting you directly?

Visited their showroom in Hawaii and loved it. Ordered several pieces but only received partial order. I could never get a straight answer from customer service (it’s shipped, in transit, in New Jersey warehouse being shipped back to California). I eventually asked for a refund in February ‘23 (order placed October ‘22). They were receiving an “error” when they tried to process the refund and explained the only way I could get my $$ back is to dispute the charge with my bank. I still have yet to receive any money back. It’s been very stressful to deal with all of this, on top of not having furniture for our guests over the holidays. Really wanted to support this company but the operations are terrible. Edit: I received the response below and provided my order number and additional details hoping it would help. I have yet to be contacted to correct this issue.

Placed two orders. One was over 1700.00, the other was over 2200.00. Four months, no delivery only constant promises of upcoming delivery dates. Finally cancelled and took another month to get my refund. I am not sure if this is a scam or not, but I wasted months trying to get my furniture and was told nothing but promises. Customer service did answer the phone though, thus the 2 stars.

I purchased a couch online in October that was set to be delivered in December. A few weeks after placing the order, I visited a showroom in person to confirm that I liked the couch and I did not. While the other couches felt alright this particular couch felt cheap and poor quality. Nice showroom, however. Staff not overly friendly. I reached out to cancel the order on November 6 and by November 9 I still had not heard back from customer service. I reached out to customer service again this time through their text number and finally got a response. After many attempts to persuade me to keep the order, they finally cancelled the order and advised that it'd take 7-14 business days to see the refund. Today is day 14 and still no refund. I reached back out and they said there was an unresolved system issue so I should dispute the charge with my bank. In what world does a company recommend a chargeback to resolve a refund issue? Very poor customer service, takes hours and days to get a response--if you even do. Would not recommend Valyou. Good prices, however.

Do not buy from this company. I ordered a bed from their website, got a delivery date, and then had to keep calling and emailing asking about my order. They told me the bed I ordered was now out of stock and they were waiting for confirmation on shipping new merchandise. Several months later, I emailed, texted and called several times, spoke with a few different agents in their departments. Finally got my order canceled and still have not received a refund. I emailed again letting them know I still haven’t gotten a refund and want a legit receipt showing the order (for the bed they no longer have anyway) was indeed canceled…Crickets. I’m disgusted. DO NOT ORDER from this company. EDIT: In Response to their Reply- This “24 hour” policy regarding cancelations or changes to one’s order SHOULD NOT be enforced when the company irresponsibly sales Out-of-Stock merchandise. You shouldn’t place blame on a customer when the company itself has zero clue as what merchandise they can actually offer. By the way, I DID finally receive my refund only after I filed a claim through PayPal AND disputed the charge with my bank AND reminded them that they essentially committed theft by attempting to enforce I receive my refund through store credit. And because they called me to ask that I change my rating since I’m getting my refund, I’ll change my rating from a 1 star to 2 stars.
