This review is of an experience I had with Urban eBikes. It is hard when I receive a product that doesn't work out. In this case, it was my fault. Urban-eBikes was TOTALLY supportive along the journey of decision, purchase, test, and sadly the need to return. The eBike was of excellent quality. It fit my body well. For most folks, I think it would be ideal. But I needed to disassemble and re-package and arrange for shipping. Kris, my contact, helped all along the way. Kind, supportive and helpful. Perhaps customer service is challenged most when they know the product is comming back. But I could not ask for better service. Thank you Kris & Urban eBikes. Pete A

12/2020: Urban E Bikes customer support is beyond amazing. It had to have been 10 pm, all the support people were gone. I left a sad face that my questions were not answered. I received an email about 10 minutes later. This incredible man does not sleep! I proceeded to order, change my mind, attempt to order, change my mind and email him three more times. Each time getting an answer within five minutes. He canceled my order for me and helped me so much. I later received an email from a support person who was happy to answer all of my questions. I have never had a company so organized and so kind. I will be doing business with Urban E Bikes as soon as I am able. I have confidently referred four people to them already. Thank you so incredibly much!

Pros: Customer service Cons: Insanely expensive for the cheap craftsmanship - Expectations were high due to a price tag of 2,000 USD on the electric tricycle. - Per the documentation that came with the trike, it was designed in the US but built in China and it shows on the welding points of the bike frame and cheap electric components. - Their website mentioned 85% of the trike would be pre-assembled; they clearly meant that you didn't have to weld the frame yourself because it arrived in pieces (closer to 25% assembled vs the claimed 85%) If you would like the experience of fully assembling a tricycle, order one on Amazon for around 300 USD. - Customer service was good, but had to request a tracking number 4 days after purchase (after paying that price tag, it felt like a scam was ongoing) - Very hard to justify the price tag when the delivered product was clearly build for cheap. For comparison, we currently own an electric bike that was designed and built in the US for 1,800 USD; it arrived fully assembled on a wooden pallet and the craftsmanship is insanely better. --> For 2,000 USD the tricycle should be delivered fully assembled and the quality needs to be waaayyy better. <---

Thank you for your review, M. - let me address your issues one by one. - I understand your frustration about the assembly - the information from the manufacturer states the bike comes 85% assembled, it's not something we came up with and we always offer our customers to take it to a local bike shop for assembling, if not possible to do it on their own. Unfortunately, we can't ship the bike fully assembled as it would be very costly and we wouldn't be able to offer free shipping for our customers. - Answering your concern about requesting a tracking number, we provided you with the tracking number as soon as we shipped the tricycle out - it is stated on our website that she shipping normally takes 3-5 days, we do not ship immediately as we're processing a lot of orders daily and it can take time. - Regarding the quality of the tricycle, that really depends on the individual taste and preference, since we've also had a lot of great reviews of this particular tricycle, however we are very sorry you feel this way and we will forward this feedback to the manufacturer to make sure your voice is heard. Unfortunately, the price tag does not depend on us, as it is the official price of the manufacturer and we couldn't sell it cheaper even if we'd like to. It was a successful assembly with compassionate service. This is a personal challenge for me, after my serious stroke 10 years ago. The tricycle will cring me security and balance on the road. Will start giving a first trial after the elections complete. Thank you!

I ordered an electric trike and I absolutely love it! It is well built and so cute. The pedal assist is just what I need to go long distances. Kris was so helpful with all of my questions. The customer service is excellent. I am completely satisfied with my purchase.
