Response from Upstep Custom OrthoticsNov 23, 2022
Impression foam casting has the obvious advantages of being quicker and cleaner and done from the comfort of your home. It offers a good method of creating a negative of the patient's foot. Upstep utilizes digital technology to fabricate a custom foot orthotic. The 3D scanning system creates a three-dimensional foot image from a direct model of the foot. These models are used for assessments of various medical conditions and measurements of the surface area of the foot. Finally, our podiatrists design orthotics that consider the 3D model combined with personal information provided by the customer concerning their specific situation (pains, conditions, needs, etc.). This method provides a high success rate. For example, suppose your foot impression presents a flatfeet condition. In that case, our podiatrists will design custom orthotics with an arch that suits your specific situation to adequately support, stabilize, and correct your feet. We offer a risk-free, 180-day money-back guarantee where we allow you to try your new custom orthotics for 180 days, and if you do not receive the relief you are looking for with the orthotics, you are entitled to a full refund. You cannot get that anywhere else. There is absolutely no risk in trying them, and a good 85% of local Podiatrists in your area are using the foam method. It is really easy to take your own impression. Please see it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BjNAtTRa204 We appreciate hearing your feedback; however, what we just explained to you is factual and this information can be found on any Podiatry forum regarding casting for custom orthotics.
