unsold.com took my money and ran I paid $297USD (400 CND) last year for a 3 night portland hotel stay. Due to travel restrictions I have not used it yet. Went to look at booking and the website is down. E-mailed and got the following response: "Dear consumer, We regret to inform you that despite all efforts, Unsold.com has been forced to cease normal business operations effective immediately and will not be able to fulfill your future travel reservation(s). Our business has succumbed to the unrelenting effects of COVID-19, including the new delta variant that continues to wreak havoc on the travel industry with extended government-imposed travel restrictions, hotel closures, limited availability, rising fulfillment costs, and massive cancellations, all resulting in exorbitant unforeseen costs. These factors have made it impossible for Unsold.com to continue operations. Please contact your hotel or accommodations-provider directly for information related to any pending reservation(s) you may have. Humbly, Unsold.com"

I paid for a package to Whistler for $270 last year. I went to book it a few days ago and found my dates and hotel I wanted. When I clicked book now it said the website was undergoing maintenance. I filled in a contact form and never heard anything. I found a couple email addresses online and forwarded my email and now it says they have ceased operations and are unable to fulfill my reservation.

Unsold.com website is down, nobody answers phone. Emails bounce back as undeliverable. I had a confirmed reservation in Barcelona for one week. Today I contacted the hotel to confirm and they told me the reservation was cancelled. 4 days before I'm supposed to check-in! No response from Unsold.com!

unsold is untrusted website, our booking got cancel before 2 day of arrival, now they are not reachable, my money also got stuck and reservation is also cancelled at hotel. They have not even update the cancellation.

I booked a hotel for my vacation through Unsold's new membership program and I really wish I never even signed up. The hotel room that I booked was supposed to be in the adults-only area of an otherwise huge chain hotel. I booked this room specifically because it was in an adults-only wing and because this type of room had access to a separate adults-only pool. Unsold's price was about 20% below what these rooms normally go for and they also gave me $50 off as a new member, so it was a good deal, however it was still a significant amount of money for only 3 full days ($800). Since I read mixed reviews about Unsold's services, I was a little worried and about 4-5 days after booking, I decided to call the hotel itself and ask if they had my booking in their records. They did not. I emailed Unsold and asked them what tha is about and thus began a weeks long correspondance with zero results. Turns out there was a "mapping issue" (whatever that means) on their part which put me in the wrong (cheaper general) part of the hotel. When I asked them to cancel the reservation for me because the site gives me no such option, they pretty much ghosted me. There is NOTHING good about Unsold and they are not even trying to help. I am desperately fighting to get my money back before the free cancellation deadline in 5 days. I really want everyone to know: NEVER book through Unsold. EDIT: I got my money back the day I posted this review. They called me like an hour after I posted it and told me they just initiated the refund and really need me to take the review down. I told them I'm not going to take it down and they can give me all the travel credit they want, I'm never booking through them again. And now it looks like they are out of business. I am updating review again as I am getting customer support from this service provider thanks to their problem solving team and in particular Rohry. Our extra payment at the hotel is going to be reimbursed as it caused lots of stress and disruption. However I would like to Draw the customer's attention to the fact that service and specifically the membership platform is fairly new and might have some bugs Therefore it's really recommended to check with them or check directly with hotel - at least for this ramp up phase - to make your expectations right and not get disappointed or distracted during your vacation or traveling time. As I understand at the moment service is mainly for room meaning you may need to pay for other services including parking or breakfast on your own at hotel and in some cities in EU even pay city tax on top of it at hotel reception. Also always contact the hotel in advance to ensure the room size and beds fits your family size. But regardless of this few issues which hopefully will be fixed later by team the experience worth having. The hotel we got in Antalya and recently in Cologne were good, clean, spacious and had very good location as well.

I have a booking of tomorrow when i called to hotel they saying booking is cancelled unsold is jot picking my call nor replying

We are currently stuck in a city 4 hours from home. Our hotel doesn't have our booking. Unsold has had hours to fix this. It's now 7pm. My kids are tired, wet (we were swimming assuming we could shower at the hotel.) We just keep being told to wait. I don't know if we will have to drive home at midnight or what. We are literally waiting in the streets. I am so upset.
