Hi, As many others I pre paid a hotel stay but was told they went bankrupt so I submitted refund request and yesterday they wrote me an email asking for bank account details. Today I have checked my account, money is there. So, even though I had to wait months, I have been refunded. Giuseppe

Last night I had an email from unsold.com that they have been forced to cease normal business operations effective immediately. This is my first purchase with them; I had booked seven nights of London Hilton hotel a few weeks ago for next week staycations with my daughter, therefore I rang the hotel and they confirm that there is my booking can be found on their system; full payment has been made as well. I also request a twin room without any problem. Keep the fingers crossed and see how things are going on next week.

I am updating review again as I am getting customer support from this service provider thanks to their problem solving team and in particular Rohry. Our extra payment at the hotel is going to be reimbursed as it caused lots of stress and disruption. However I would like to Draw the customer's attention to the fact that service and specifically the membership platform is fairly new and might have some bugs Therefore it's really recommended to check with them or check directly with hotel - at least for this ramp up phase - to make your expectations right and not get disappointed or distracted during your vacation or traveling time. As I understand at the moment service is mainly for room meaning you may need to pay for other services including parking or breakfast on your own at hotel and in some cities in EU even pay city tax on top of it at hotel reception. Also always contact the hotel in advance to ensure the room size and beds fits your family size. But regardless of this few issues which hopefully will be fixed later by team the experience worth having. The hotel we got in Antalya and recently in Cologne were good, clean, spacious and had very good location as well.

I bought a trip with unsold and when I was ready to choose the dates, I couldn't do the reservation because of a special character of my name "ê", something that wasn't a problem until then. But for the reservation, that information is already locked and gives an error message that the field can't have numbers, and I can't change that. I sent an e-mail yesterday, so I was worried to lost my trip. However, they called me today (next day of presenting the complaint) and they got me another two options for dates that fit me. Now I am waiting for the Hotel confirmation to book my flight and see how it goes. If your name has any special characters don't use it even to create your account.

I removed 1 star because it didn't go smoothly at first. The hotel could find my reservation in November but not anymore in June. We also had doubts when we received the email from the hotel with the amount of the room left to pay on arrival. Unsold.com customer service was a great help and we got confirmation from the hotel that they modified the reservation with the right name and the hotel confirmed the room was paid. My spouse and I are reassured now despite a difficult start. It seems it was a misunderstanding after all.

My first booking with Unsold.com was excellent. Great place, easy to book. Amazing price. But I had issues with the second one - the booking page automatically generates my name and details and would not proceed because my name had a hyphen; this hadn't been a problem the first time. Once customer service got back to me (it took a couple of days), the problem was fixed within minutes. The issue seems to be getting through to customer service rather than the actual service - which is excellent.

This review was updated after being unhappy with hotel choices. The customer support was replying to me within hours and talking to me daily and ultimately issued full refund quickly as part of 24x7 satisfaction guarantee. Guess I will always book with them first and either get a deal and if unhappy get a refund. Great response by customer support.

Would like to book but want to go with our friends . Can we guarantee the same hotel? We’re flexible re dates etc
