DONT IGNORE BAD REVIEWS
ABSOLUTE WORST COMPANY, first off they have many if not all good reviews that are fake. Secondly they lie to get you to sign no matter what it takes. I asked if they use their own trucks, Dan responded yes, “they have a port all through the us” bullshi. Secondly, they give 30 days from the first delivery date then pay $30 each day after. Or like Dan said “the department of transportation gives us 21 days” (That didn’t happen) we had to pay in full. Picked up June 25, and our stuff finally got here Sept 26, funniest part is that our stuff sat in warehouse in LA being tossed around while nobody wanted to answer calls. We had a motorcycle that was dropped, mirrors broken, etc, tv broken ripped bags. This company isn’t worth using. Roxy is complete useless. Dan pushed us off to Frankie., but Frankie (who is supposedly im charge of MNS Transport)would straight up lie to me. I had a AirTag the whole time all of them would lie and say my stuff was on the way. Just so happen to be another trucker looking for loads that took our stuff to FL. Seriously just rent a truck or you’ll get screwed.

Broker Company takes no responsibility to honor contracts
This is a broker company that claims to use only five companies that are insured. Well the one they used for our move has an F with Better Business Bureau (The company mishandled and broke several items, there are scratches and gouges on almost all our wood furniture, and they damaged our porch stairs during loading). We signed an updated contract with United American that they failed communicate to the moving company (Alpha Moving) which included a better rate and a second down payment. We were forced to overpay $2437 and United American won't even return our calls to help correct the situation.

Thank you for reaching out and sharing your concerns. We fully honor all of our contracts and take these matters very seriously. As a moving broker, we work with a select number of insured moving companies, and it's important to us that the carriers we assign meet industry standards.
Regarding your specific situation, I understand you had issues with Alpha Moving, including damage to your items and additional charges. It's unfortunate that you experienced this, and I sincerely apologize for the frustration it has caused. While we did assign Alpha Moving for your job, I will ensure this matter is thoroughly investigated to address any miscommunication between the updated contract and the carrier.
I will escalate this issue within our team, and we'll work on resolving the overpayment and communication issues you faced. I will follow up with Alpha Moving and ensure you get the support you need. I’ll also look into your deposit and any potential adjustments or compensation based on the terms of the contract.

I booked with them to pick up my items…
I booked with them to pick up my items and deliver from Portland, OR to Kyle, TX on 8/19/2024. James booked my order and assured that I had plenty of space for my items. upon arrival I was told it would cost an additional $800. They took 24 days to deliver and once they got here not only were they 4 hours late but they complained that they couldn't get around the roundabout in the neighborhood and would have to deliver the next day and it could potentially cost double. After telling us it would cost and additional $100 they delivered some but not all of my things. 2 tv's 65inch and 75inch were missing as well as my king size bed frame. the delivered someone else's dresser and box of fragile items. The delivery guy told me to keep the dresser as a gift because no one else had called for them anyway. After promising they'd find our items in the warehouse they left assuring me it would be taken care of. Upon calling the boss he told me he'd try to find out items but if he couldn't the insurance would pay 60 cent per pound. I did not even pick that insurance. the guy who booked it picked everything. He told me whatever he wanted to get our business then scammed us. The other business involved is new life relocation however I'm not sure this company exists. The number I called said he is not the same company and that these guys must e scammers cause it gets so many calls from people looking for them.
(The response they gave to this review is a complete lie. I shipped no sofa, dining room table or chairs, no mini fridge (i dont even own one) and only 2 TV'S which they originally lost. Our bedframe and TV'S were found and delivered this past week but our frame was severely damaged. The guy said the insurance only pays 60 cent per pound. Which again, I did not get a choice on the insurance it was picked for me. I also bought both TV boxes as I was told. The contract is no where to be found. The guy James made it seem like this was his company when they are actually brokers. I had no clue they were using a different company to transport my items. These people were also nearly impossible to get in contact with after the incident. When i finally spoke with someone (not james) he flat out told me "we're not going to do anything about it." They do not care about you once you pay your money. A scam is when you are promised one thing and you don't get what you paid for. Yes, they relocated us but did not set up anything as was promised and said they are not even allowed to set up anything.
James promised a bunch of lies to get our business only to under deliver. DO NOT USE THEM!!!!)

Hello, I’d like to address the issues you encountered and explain the additional $800 charge. When comparing the first contract to the second, which you have a copy of (as you emailed it to our support team), there were additional items that were not originally listed. These included an extra sofa, a dining table, eight dining chairs, a mini-fridge, and five televisions. Additionally, none of the TVs were packed in proper TV boxes, which we advise all customers to purchase. The extra items and the five TV boxes were the reasons for the $800 additional charge.
Regarding the 24-day delivery time, this was due to the first available delivery date you provided at pick-up, which was 10 days later. The 10-14 day window for delivery begins from that date, not from the pick-up date. This could have been avoided if you had requested immediate delivery, assuming you were available to accept it sooner.
You also have $10,000 of insurance coverage for each item, so we will contact the carrier, as they are insured. If there are missing or damaged items, you will need to provide pictures and file a claim directly with the carrier. We will also follow up to ensure the process is handled correctly.
Please understand that we are a licensed, bonded, and insured company, and all the moving carriers we work with are also licensed and insured through the Department of Transportation and FMCSA. I’m unsure why the term 'scam' is being used, as your relocation was successfully completed.

Three months Ghosted!
I was contacted by Dan, of United American Moving and Storage about the possibility of their firm handling my move to West Virginia from Washington State. I only had boxes to move, no furniture, and the rate quoted was comparable to my renting a U-Haul trailer so I decided to go ahead and contract with UAM&S. In our initial conversation, I was led to believe that I was contracting for space on a regulation semi-truck and trailer rig. When moving day arrived, it was two sketchy young men in a used surplus U-Haul box truck. Too late to back out, as I was up against my move-out date, and the deposit check had been paid, so I went ahead. So far, so good, but then the nightmare started. I was completely ghosted by this crew for the next three months in trying to find out where in the "Heck" their truck and my life's possessions had gotten off to. Dan, who I discovered to my complete dismay was merely acting as a broker for these guys, and although sympathetic, seemed to have no actual control over them. At the three-month mark, I threatened to involve the Washington and West Virginia State Attorney Generals in my efforts, and surprise, surprise, contact was made with the two sketchy guys. Long story short, my UAM&S guaranteed firm price fell by the wayside, and I ended up being charged an extra C-note, some boxes were damaged, and some were simply gone. Still, I considered myself lucky in the deal, after going online and discovering these and other reviews. There is a lot more that I found out about this group, but it would fill a small book, so we will drop the story here. The move began in August of 2023, and I didn't receive my goods until November. This review is so late in arriving here, because I simply wanted to have everything go away. Well, it didn't. It kept creeping back into my mind over and over for the past nine months. Maybe in writing this review, I can now finally get some rest. Beware of this firm.

Hello,
I’d like to clarify a few things and hopefully come to a resolution. First, we typically use a 26-foot box truck for pickups, not an 18-wheeler. The 18-wheeler is only used for drop-offs when the volume exceeds what can fit in a single truck. Whether we send one 26-foot truck or two, the price remains the same as what you were quoted from the beginning. The decision to send a smaller truck is to ensure we can access your location without additional distance or logistical issues. There was no additional charge for using the 26-foot truck.
Regarding your concerns about delayed communication, I find that difficult to reconcile because we have a dedicated phone line for our West Coast customers that operates 15 hours a day. According to our records, we spoke with you over a dozen times, and you also exchanged emails with our team, including Roxy, Brandon, and Daniel, in addition to your booking agent. While we may not have been able to provide an exact delivery time, we were always available and responsive. We certainly didn’t "go ghost" on you as you mentioned.
As for any missing or damaged items, please understand that we are fully insured, as are our moving carriers, in accordance with Department of Transportation regulations. If there are any issues or damages, we will ensure the moving carrier contacts you promptly to initiate the claims process and resolve the situation.
Regarding the delivery timeline, the clock for delivery starts from the "first available delivery date" that you provide to the movers at pickup, not the pickup date itself. If you needed delivery sooner, it’s essential to let the movers know so they can arrange accordingly.
We will reach out again to ensure that everything is handled properly, and if there's anything further we can do to resolve this issue, we are more than willing to help.

I am writing this with tears in my eyes…
I am writing this with tears in my eyes due to frustration. I initially spoke with James we discussed everything..elevator at storage and elevator at my new address was told no elevator fees…the mover arrives in a U-Haul type truck puts my stuff in there and tells my sister it’s being transferred to a warehouse? WTH! Was never told that by James…the guy also charges me an elevator fee and long haul fee an extra 175.00! I immediately call n text Roxy and James and they both claim they couldn’t get into my file..they then say if it’s 100 feet to elevator my sister made a video to show they pulled the truck pretty much right up to the elevator…now my furniture will be sitting somewhere till they have a full load to come to Philadelphia from Las Vegas…was never advised that was the process I wish I would of went with another broker..I’ve never experienced this before with a cross country move.. praying I get my furniture🙏🏽 just horrible experience
The response is BS and the picture of the contract from the mover shows elevator fee…also it’s Oct 2nd and the mover just called me to tell me they will bringing my belongings on Oct 4th and I have to pay an additional 550.00 dollars stay away from this brokerage and don’t believe a word they say
And I have not hear from them since August beginning of September…they are full of it

I understand your frustration, and I appreciate the opportunity to clarify a few points regarding your move.
First, there are no charges for elevator use; however, there is a long carry fee that typically starts at $350. The additional $175 charge you incurred was due to the movers not being able to get within 100 feet of your pickup address. In an effort to assist you and minimize your costs, United American Moving and Storage absorbed part of this fee, covering the remaining $175 to offset the standard long carry charge of $350 stated in your contract.
I understand you were upset about this charge, but it was necessary because of the distance from the truck to your front door. Your move covered 2,500 miles, and we successfully completed it for under $2,000 without any additional fees aside from the long carry charge.
Regarding the delivery timeline, I want to clarify that with a cross-country move, it’s not feasible to expect delivery within 48 hours. As communicated, the delivery window was 10 to 14 days, which is what we adhered to.
Since your move was relatively small and required transporting your belongings across the country, we brought them to a warehouse before loading them onto an 18-wheeler for the journey. This process is necessary to efficiently transport items without exceeding the cost.
We’ve been in contact with you multiple times throughout the process to ensure everything went smoothly. Again, you were successfully picked up and delivered, with no additional charges beyond the long carry fee. I sincerely apologize for any misunderstandings, and if there’s anything more we can do to assist you, please let me know.

I had a 10x30 storage unit and every moving company wanted an exact inventory, which I knew could lead to price increases if I forgot something. United American Moving and Storage made it easy by offering a flat rate. Everything went smoothly, and I got straight delivery. The entire process was hassle-free, and I’m extremely satisfied with their service. Highly recommended!

I had to move both my two-bedroom…
I had to move both my two-bedroom apartment and my father’s one-bedroom apartment, which was just 5 miles down the road. United American Moving and Storage didn't charge extra for the additional stop. There was an additional $200 charge for my father's TV boxes, but other than that, everything was great. The movers were efficient and professional, making the entire process smooth and hassle-free. Highly recommend!

Scammers and Brokers
Scammers and Brokers. Thieves. Dont trust fake reviews. They will give you one estimate and have you sign for it. Then they'll double it and tell you if you don't agree, they'll charge you anyway. There is no cancelation option. They just hustle people and scam them into charging what they want either during your move or a few days out. They try to trap you with a contract that claims your estimate won't exceed the agreed cost and then change it. My estimate went from 2200 to 3645 overnight. They tried to coerce me into giving them 500 immediately on top of the 850 I already paid two days before my move or they would not move me and they would still keep the 850. They said if I cancelled, they would also keep the 850 even though this was 2 days after I had reserved. Absolute criminals. They prey on military families in particular and have absolutely no empathy. This is a predatory company and should not be trusted.
Response from dispatch moverJul 29, 2024
✅✅✅✅✅✅ Hello,
I'd like to explain what truly happened regarding your move. When you signed up with us on July 23, 2024, the inventory you provided included 28 items/71 pieces of furniture.
⚠️ You informed us that your belongings measured 400 cubic feet. However, we estimated that you needed 600 cubic feet and discussed this with you. After some back and forth, we agreed on 423 cubic feet. ⚠️
Your first available pick-up date was July 29, giving us only five days' notice. Because you booked your move within 14 days of your first available pick-up date, your deposit was non-refundable. This is why you are not receiving a refund. Additionally, you canceled within 48 hours of scheduling the truck to pick up your belongings in Louisiana. According to the contract, canceling within 48 hours of the pick-up date forfeits your refund. You signed and agreed to this, as well as the credit card authorization form outlining these stipulations.
When you spoke to Dispatch a few days before the move and submitted a new inventory, you included measurements, unlike the first time. Comparing the two inventories, there is a significant difference; the second inventory required 590 cubic feet, which aligns with our initial estimate of 600 cubic feet. Despite your initial claim of 400 cubic feet, the correct measurements added up to nearly 600 cubic feet, necessitating an additional charge that you did not pay. Consequently, the only loss you incurred was your deposit.
Please understand that if a customer updates their inventory or needs more space shortly before the move, additional charges apply. This situation arose because of incorrect or incomplete initial measurements. We provided an accurate estimate based on the information available.
