We chose the brand new option for our rentals. The service has been great and the scooters are nice with the exception of the rough ride due to the small diameter hard-rubber tires. They fold nice for easy carrying and the app connectivity with the scooter is well done.
Response from Unagi ScootersMay 16, 2024
We're glad to hear you're enjoying the service and the features of our scooters, especially their foldability and app connectivity. We appreciate your feedback on the ride quality with the hard-rubber tires. We're always looking to improve and your input is invaluable as we consider future enhancements. Thank you for being a part of the Unagi community, and we look forward to continuing to serve you!

I got this scooter and kept it for almost a year and it is very very helpful and I have only crashed once. You don’t go very fast just wear a helmet

Reliable enough for me
I have been using these scooters for almost a year now. I use it to commute back and forth to work. My first one only lasted 200 miles before the front wheel came off. I had to wait almost a month for a replacement. I have put about 800+ miles on the one I'm using currently. Battery normally only lasts about 5 miles if I'm pushing it. Once it hits about 3 bars you can tell it's dying but I can't complain. It's helped me out so much.

Thank you for sharing your journey with us! We’re glad to hear that your Unagi scooter has become such an integral part of your daily commute. We apologize for the initial issues you faced and the wait for a replacement—that's certainly not the experience we want our customers to have. It's great to hear that your current scooter has covered a lot of ground. We appreciate your feedback on the battery performance as well, as it helps us to improve. Thank you for your understanding and for sticking with us. We’re here to support you and ensure your commuting continues to be as smooth and reliable as possible. 🛴💪

The scooter itself is great I’ve been commuting with it for almost a year now and it hasn’t ever let me down. Customer service has been spotty but not unreasonably so so I’ll give em a 4/5. All in all good company. Wish the scooters were a bit cheaper because now that I’ve rented for a while I want to buy but it’s costly.
Response from Unagi ScootersMay 6, 2024

This bad boy is work of art!
This scooter is do dope. It's the most beautifully designed / state-of-the-art scooter on the market. It's also the lightest and most portable, and still packs a lot of power. It really zips through Brooklyn and is perfect to take on the subway. You give up a little cushion w/ the airless tires, but you make it up in that you never have to worry about a flat tire!
Response from Unagi ScootersApr 9, 2024
Thanks for your awesome feedback! We're thrilled to hear how much you're enjoying your Unagi scooter. Our team works hard to design a scooter that's not only stylish and state-of-the-art but also lightweight, powerful, and perfect for urban environments like Brooklyn. Ride on!

Happy customer
I'm very happy and impressed with my Unagi E450 scooter. I was happy to pay extra than most other scooters as I live on a very, very steep hill, so I required one with stronger power. The scooter glides up the hill easily at a steady 9-11 mph , which is only a bit less than its optimum of 16 mph on flat roads. Simple and easy to set up. Also its a sleek and fancy design. It folds easily and unlike most other e-scooters that I have seen it folds straight as opposed to those that have that slight triangular peak from the slanting bar in the structure.
