As someone who doesn’t drive due to visual issues, you have to get creative how to get around otherwise. Unagi was the answer to the problem of both avoiding an expensive one time payment to own a scooter outright and ensuring the product was of decent quality backed by the company somehow. The scooter was delivered pretty fast along with my separate accessories order of a helmet and mini pelican case. It was easy to assemble. Easy to charge. And easy to get to know how to ride. Let me tell you…it’s a fun ride! At the same time, it’s a bit of a rough ride depending on surface. Had it had some sort of suspension over than the patented wheel design that does handle some of the shock, I think it may not be as bad. And the short handlebar length makes it a little hard to mount a phone next to the controls. Other than that it does well. In fact it lasts longer than I thought on a single charge. I’m pleased with the current range I get. It’s not what it says when I enter my weight in but it’s not top of the scale either for distance but definitely more than it says thankfully. One other small thing I wasn’t prepared for right away at signup was the $149 security deposit. I understand why though but it would be nice to be transparent about all fees on marketing pages including social media so people know up front what they’re out of pocket is. Can’t wait to ride again soon. And who knows I might buy a Model One refurb

I recently got an Unagi Voyager and love how compact it is and how easy it is to fold. I also love the blue color and the simple display and handle bars. The ride is a bit rough which I don’t love, hence the 4 stars.

Really great scooter for a very good price, however you definitely feel the bumps and any abnormalities on the road.

Got into a relationship. Got matching Unagi’s. Dropped the man. Kept my Unagi. Unlike future men, I have no intention of getting rid of this incredibly valuable and dependable tool that has made my life so much easier.

Fun to ride and easy to assemble. When there was a problem, customer service stepped in with a replacement. I have not been able to ride for a week and counting, so that is the downside.

Good scooter. Could be built better for balance at speeds close to 20mph and doesnt turn ON for a while after rains.
