I finally received my new Unagi Voyager Scooter app via email, and rode it my for the first time yesterday after impatiently waiting for a while to receive it The app works well, the Scooter nice. The handle bars are a little wobbly, and very short in height (measures to my stomach), but I can still enjoying it. And I am still having trouble figuring out how to change the speed modes.

This company, Unagi, asks for a review and to refer them to my friends… to spread the word… I’m a college student and I am a part of a community where word gets around. Unfortunately for Unagi, I’ve had nothing but negative feedback about them… each month the company gives me a credit due too many inconveniences —like for 1) when I got my scooter the battery was faulty, causing me to be stranded and lugging around a heavy scooter. 2) Firmware update causing the e-scooter functions to not work as Unagi has promised and advertises. 3) Customer service is just not there. I’ve reach out many times to Ungai in regard to this issue with the scooters function and they seem to not want to communicate or be transparent about issues. This company advertises that this scooter will make your life easier by efficient transportation so you won’t have to worry. However, since I’ve had this scooter, I can say, my life has been more inconvenienced and I find myself worrying more. If this company isn’t able to be honest, transparent, and uphold what they advise and promise, then they need to go or do better!! _____ October 4th, 2024 They have fixed this issue with the scooter speed... BUT still doesn't excuse their lake of communication and transparency. There is no other company like Unagi when it comes to the quality and efficiency, that's why it made me upset when they were falling back on their promise... however, today they are writing their wrongs, and I look forward to the promise set forth as this commenter has stated. So the box was destroyed when it came to me but came in time as said, the scooters pretty good only complaint is the battery kinda sucks

It's okay but there's a few things I wish was better with my Unagi Scooter. Lucky I'm renting cause every year I have to get another scooter. It's doesn't ride as smooth as I think it should.

Unagi is good but there are few drawbacks with breaks .its good for short commutes

Revised review: Just received my scooter today. love the scooter so far!!! After receiving a reply to my complaint on this website with a contact email, I was able to find out the status of my order. I then was able to make some changes to my order and a scooter was shipped within a day. I really wish the app or website would of had a simple notice on the status of the order! Something like the email message I received after my complaint, *we are awaiting stock to fulfill your order°. Sending out no follow up emails and just leaving pending as the status (along with having dead links to some contact pages) had me worried about the viability of the company. I requested a return label and haven't received one yet. Not sure why it would take multiple days to receive a return label for a rented scooter..

I like the scooter I am disappointed that many if the claims made by Unagi are patently false. Range of 25 miles? More like 15. Top speeds up to 20mph? If you can get the scooter to respond to the way you turn it on, which it may not do, and mine never works. The refurbished model are kinda beat up on. I've had mine for 2 weeks and it looks like I've had it for a year. I'm still on the fence if I keep renting after my subscription.
