I just wrapped up the initial setup of my new sound system and I am genuinely ecstatic about the performance right out of the box. Once I get my theatre all set up I'll start looking into how I fine tune it all, but clever hardware design and easy setup has really set the tone. The audio fidelity and sheer sound coverage this bar provides are seriously impressive, it fills my whole living area with crisp, rich sound. But the real star is the bass unit. It delivers a powerful, substantial punch that you can truly feel, which is exactly what I was hoping for. With audio equipment I never want to feel like I'm turning it up to get where I need to be. I want it to sit comfortably in lower to mid power levels and this does exactly that. Honestly, getting everything connected was a total breeze. The setup process was remarkably intuitive and fast. I haven't even had a chance to dive into all the settings yet, but based on this phenomenal start, I'm thrilled with my purchase. Highly, highly recommend!

Ich hatte zunächst die Poseidon 60 Boom bestellt. Im Raum habe ich dann gemerkt, dass die größere Variante der Skywave X40 Soundbar besser passen würde. Rückgabe lief sehr problemlos, Bestellung der Skywave X40 habe ich dann wieder über den Mediamarkt vorgenommen. Lieferung kam absolut schnell. Aufbau gestaltete sich wieder sehr einfach, Inbetriebnahme auch. Und das Ergebnis: Überwältigend! Über HDMI Kable einen LED Beamer verbunden, Raum hat ca 30 m², Abstand zur Leinwand etwa 4 m. Absolutes Kinoerlebnis, und die Nachbarn wissen jetzt auch, was läuft...:-) dank des Hammer Bass/Subwoofer. Als Testreferenz dient bei mir immer die DVD Gladiator im DTS und im Dolby Sound, die Anfangszene im germanischen Wald, wenn die Pfeile, Schreie, Katapulte, Explosionen um einen rumschwirren. Über Amazon prime dann mit dem Stream von Midway von Emmerich getestet - und auch hier ist die SkywaveX40 für mich Referenzklasse. Vor allem bei dem Preis! Support, direkt aus der App, auch perfekt! App ebenfalls alles was man braucht. Die Zusammenfassung von 3 Gerätefernbedienungen nur über die Ultimea Fernbedienung funktioniert ebenso perfekt. Klare Kaufempfehlung!

I was very impressed with the entire process. Shipping, packaging,quality,ease of installation, sound, and very inexpensive. I was extremely happy that the surround speakers used only one cable,self powered and bluetooth. I am so impressed with the product and immediate response to my concern. I will surely tell everyone that I come in contact with about Ultimea. I was not going to add surround sound to my 65" Samsung, but couldn't pass up on this deal and glad I did. Can't go wrong.

Ich habe mir die Skywave X70 als Ersatz für meine alte Philips-Soundbar bestellt. Und was soll ich sagen: Da liegen Welten dazwischen, was den Sound angeht. Schon der Subwoofer der Skywave X70 macht einen riesigen Unterschied. Ich erlebe einen Bass, der nicht nur laut ist oder dröhnt – man kann ihn wirklich körperlich fühlen. Die Installation des Systems war kinderleicht: auspacken, anschließen, und die Boxen verbinden sich von selbst. Über YouTube habe ich direkt ein paar Dolby-Atmos-Quellen getestet, und das gesamte System klingt einfach fantastisch. Steuern lässt sich alles entweder über die Fernbedienung oder über die App – die ich absolut empfehlen kann. Die Kinoabende können jetzt kommen – und ich hoffe, die Nachbarn fühlen sich nicht allzu sehr gestört.

I ordered some equipment from them. After quite a long wait, I contacted them to find out where my package was. They replied that one of the items was no longer in stock. They offered me $30 compensation for the missing item. Since then, I have heard nothing and received no reply to my email. I hope I haven't fallen victim to a fraudulent website.

Worst customer service I have experienced …. To start I saw a “pre-order” offer for the Ultimea Skywave X70 when I first saw this I sent Ultimea a email enquiring they couldn’t respond quicker I had a reply within 30mins answering all my questions encouraging me to buy. I decided to go through with the order late september …. They had promoted that the orders would be shipped by 20th October , only to email on the 19th of October and state there was customs clearance and other problems out of their control and the order would arrive at their warehouse by late November …. So I waited ….. late November comes still nothing this last week/2weeks I have emailed around 4/5 times each time you have ignored my emails for days at time only to then respond with the same generic email stating the SKYWAVE X70 is out of Stock at their warehouse and the shipment is expected to arrive mid to late December at the EARLIEST …… I have since emailed back asking a few questions to which I have been ignored again…. It seems to me you have taken my money for the skywave x70 yet the order hasn’t even left your factory to make way to the UK and we are being fed all these lies claiming the shipment has already left ….. all I want is a delivery date and to know when my order will arrive ?….. I ordered this product nearly 3months ago now it was supposed to be shipped on the 20th October …. Where’s is my order ? When will it be sent from your factory? Your customer service is appalling you can reply instantly and have great customer service when it comes to enquiring about your products and wanting to place an order but once you have received payment and we want to know what’s happening with our orders your customer service is non existent. If this carries on the way it is has been going i will soon be asking to process a full refund and order from a more reputable brand in which you can rely on their customer service for a reply and can actually track your order.

Order number U11356 for an Apollo S90 system at £344. It functions ans sounds okay. Unfortunately it has very little setup adjustment, so you can't set it up for the room; the different inputs reproduce the same sound track completely differently; it always defaults to the input it wants, rather than what you were last on and the app is a waste of time. I used the community page to give feedback but they have no interest in actioning anything, they just say thanks and Ooo, we'll feed that back but it must be the only app on my phone without an update since April. I wish I'd gone with another Sony system as they have all the features this hasn't, last ten years based on my experience and are worth the extra cost. If your on a budget then consider them but otherwise get something else. Edit: I contacted Ultimea direct and my comments were dismissed as below with thanks for my comments. They aren't interested in supporting improvements in existing items based on their replies. They insisted there was an update, so I uninstalled and reinstalled the app to get that but it has no more functionality, so nothing has changed.
