3 stars because sound is great but the UE support is really, really horrible. My UE Megaboom 3, marketed as "“virtually indestructible” by Ultimate Ears, of all parts the power button of a Megaboom 3, which has avowedly been tested with 1000s of pushes, shows a defect that exposes the inside of the device and makes it unserviceable for outdoor use. Ultimate Ears "support": We don't offer repair for these devices After requesting to forward my complaint to a decision-making level they simply refused to answer. This arrogance is unparalleled. In the next step I reached out to Logitech, the Swiss company that acquired UE in 2008. They were very friendly, apologized for the egregious treatment and in a good turn of events offered to replace my device.

Low volume, no longevity, stops holding charge. Sound quality rapidly declines.

Worst customer / support from any company I have encountered. I was given Ultimate Ears as a gift and the battery charging case is broken . Only used them once and needed for them for marathons which I ah e now completed. . No use as I couldn’t charge them. Emailed UE support and still no reply have umpteen emails . Called their customer support who said they would notify and expedite my request for a new charger or refund which now is what I would like. So unprofessional!!!

Swim plug impressions quickly and easily made at Sidcup.Plugs arrived a couple of weeks later as promised. Perfect fit, keep water out and won't come out. A must for regular swimmers.

We have had 2 of their boom speakers now and they both have just got to a point where they no longer connect, and that’s after not owning either for very long. Have tried all troubleshooting methods and nothing works. They are obviously just stylish, robust, pieces of crap.

This company and its director are a fraudulent, dishonest and abusive set up. Avoid at all costs and report to HSE and trading standards!

Great Quality, immeasurably pleased

Just received my fourth pair or ultimate ear product. Again they exceed expectations. Bluetooth sound ear - allow me to be on my own with awesome sound clarity on my motorbike or when travelling. Sound ear pro - allow me to connect to my motorbike comms system or just listen to music with great depth and clarity Squidgys and filtered - great for work as I work around planes and vehicles. But these still allow me to communicate to everyone around me and do not leave me with any noise droning or washing when I take them out. The fitting team in Sidcup were awesome, which is why I have gone back time after time. Pricing for each item is great. Amazing product and truly fits in the category of you get what you pay for.
