Hmmm. Well, it is getting used to fitting the product. I noticed that between the ear plugs versus the ear muffled, that they dealt with sounds slightly different. A rifle or pistol is heard, but it is not a sharp sound. It stays dull. I noticed that one plug would loosen slightly in my ear. I would have to put that right now at the failure to seat the device properly. I feel that I do not experience a degradation of sound blocking quality. I have not shot with these for more than two hours total. An unbiased review will take some time to construct. Unless you want to know right this minute. Then go buy them. It is the only way that you will know.

Hi Mark, We appreciate you taking the time to share such a thoughtful and candid first impression. It’s helpful to hear that you’ve noticed the difference in how the ear tips and muffs handle sound, while still finding the gunfire noticeably softened rather than sharp. Fit can take a little experimentation, and we’re glad you recognized the slight loosening as something that may be related to how the earbud was seated. Since you’ve only had a couple of hours of range time so far, we also appreciate your approach of giving the product more time before forming a final opinion. We checked our records to see if you had previously contacted our support team, and we noticed that the issue was addressed immediately. If you experience any ongoing fit or performance issues, please reach out to us at [email protected] so our team can look into it with you. Thank you again for giving Ravine a fair try and for sharing an honest perspective with other shooters. Regards, Ace Social Media team
