I’m still onboarding with tryotter but so far it has been a seamless and good experience. Harry and Manu are helping me and they have made the process very easy so far and we’re very helpful.

My team has been using Otter for over a year at 3 locations. We were there in the beginning when things were rough. Over the past several months our experience has been more positive. They have provided a single point of contact account rep and additional tools for addressing common needs. The expansion of the app & platform itself is very encouraging. I like the tools they have developed such as an insights dashboard that gives us more comprehensive sales reporting. I’m glad to see the investment they’ve made over the last 6 months or so and look forward to continuing to explore their services.

It was slow going with Otter when we started and through Covid, but now things are much better because of our new account manager Quinn. She really knows what she’s doing and helps troubleshoot the issue right away instead of resorting to “let me find out and never get back to you”. Issues I had been having for 6-8 months were resolved within 3 weeks from having her assigned to our account. I also recommend the manual menu updates tool. Now that I can manage myself most of my frustration is gone.

Otter has its ups and down just like any company. I’ve seen a lot of reviews about it’s horrible customer service etc. but as a restaurant business everything isn’t solved by Otter. There will be times when it’s not the best and times where it’s made my business so much more efficient easy to run. Sales can be compiled daily, they have a bunch of features from business insights, marketing, menu management etc. Jorge our account manager has been working with our business non stop on any issues we see. There’s live chat support as well that’s always working with us to help resolve any issues. Overall Otter has been beneficial for my business more often than not. Yes they still have things to work on internally as a business but like I said that’s any business. If you give them a try and actually work with someone from within Otter it’ll help your business guaranteed.

Excellent way to merge our online platforms / only issue is the hardware provided, besides that, software works wonders for organizing and optimizing online sales all in one place. Customer service is also very quick to respond and take action.

Otter is brutal!!! If I could give negative stars it would have been -5 terrible company, we have been trying to cancel for over a month, absolute nightmare DO NOT GET TRAPPED. They are still logged into our DoorDash and Uber accounts, they are still able to see our financials even though I have requested a complete deletion of our account multiple times over the last month. It is a complete violation of our privacy and illegal. I would ask to speak to their manager but I don’t think they have one.

I don't understand how my last poor review of Otter got removed. However, it's been 3 weeks and I still don't have my problem resolved. Everything is an escalation issue and they need to have someone call me back in 24 hours which never happens because they have me as an inactive customer since I cancelled their service. But, they haven't relayed that to all the tablets so the tablets have it tied to Otter and won't release it until Otter tells them which in 3 weeks they still haven't. I run stay far away from this company. They will cost you more money then they will ever help you make. I know because they have cost me about $1k in lost sales in wrong price sales.
