My appointment with Dr. Kevin was one of the best appointments that I have ever experienced. It was refreshing. He took the the time to explain things to me in terms that I can understand. He’s diligent in making sure my health is the best it can be. You can tell he loves what he does because it shows. I would recommend Dr. Kevin to anyone seeking a kind, compassionate, and brilliant doctor!

My counselor honestly cares and that's a big plus. She was open and honest about the entire process.

Simple and fast to use, very helpful at a time when getting an appointment to renew meds may be difficult and such a time/gas/money saver to not have to drive into town for help.

Going to wait to say "Amazing" - so far has been good. My experience so far has been this - I signed up for the trial ($10 for the first month). I was able to schedule an appointment for a few days later. I wasn't able to make a late appointment which works better for my work/sleep schedule, but I am fortunate enough to be able to work from home most days and able to take breaks when needed. If I were in a less fortunate position - same work/sleep schedule, unable to take a longer break - the available appointments would not have worked for me. I was able to join a Zoom call pretty easily. The provider was there and was very kind. He gave me a little of his background then we talked about the symptoms I was experiencing and what medications might work. He explained what to expect and sent the scripts electronically to my local pharmacy. Within a half hour or so of talking on the phone, I was able to see my scripts on the pharmacy site. In total, I spent less than $10 and I was able to pick up the prescription the same day - ymmv. I would note that the Minded providers seem only allowed to prescribe medications from a list that's available online. Another note is that I'm not sure they're all psychiatrists, I think more than a few are Nurse Practitioners. I have nothing against NPs, but I know some people get weird about not seeing a "Doctor". Having said that, Minded outright says they can't write scripts for controlled substances - I've seen negative reviews of other services based entirely on the service not writing a script for a controlled substance the patient has been on before and I would recommend looking at what Minded says they can/can't do and then further note your state may have different rules. So if you need controlled substances or really any medication not on the list, Minded might not be for you. I honestly think that medication is what will help me most having tried a healthy diet, therapy, exercise, breathing/meditation/yoga in conjunction and finding that I still have symptoms (though they were greatly improved with the above, I'm hoping medication is what takes me over the edge into not having long-term problems anymore).

Hi Sarah—Thank you for taking the time to leave such a detailed review about your Minded experience. We are very happy to hear we were able to help you! We wanted to clarify a couple of the important points that Sarah made for anyone reading this. As mentioned above, our Care Team is made up of both psychiatrists and psychiatric nurse practitioners. All members of the Care Team are board-certified. We can prescribe controlled substances in certain states—when appropriate—at the discretion of the provider. A full list of the medications we can prescribe can be found at https://www.tryminded.com/blog/our-medications. Thanks again Sarah for the detailed review, and we look forward to seeing you soon. :)

I attempted to sign up for Minded on November 28th. I scheduled an appointment for December 1st. The next day (November 29th), I received an email stating I needed to reschedule my appointment due to a "scheduling error." I selected the next available appointment, which wasn't until December 7th. On December 7th, I joined the appointment via the zoom link provided in my confirmation email. I was welcomed by a message saying the meeting would start once the host joined. I waited. After 15 minutes, I attempted to reach out for support. I submitted message to the care team, only to be told the care team was not available until the next day. I waited another 15 minutes and submitted a message to what was supposed to be the support team, which is meant to be available 24/7. This just generated another message with the care team which, again, was unavailable during the scheduled appointment time. I waited the entire 45 minutes for the psychiatrist to show up, only to be left hanging. When support finally got back to me, their only response was to say they were looking into the matter but I should reschedule (for a third time?) while they figured out what happened. I'm not sure if they ever figured out what happened, because I never received any follow up. I cancelled my plan. Thankfully, when I went to sign up originally, the site autofilled a code to give me my first month free, so I'm not out any money. However, I am out the time I wasted on this service and was unable to receive any needed medication. I highly recommend using a different service.
