The professors were extremely good communicators and made the learning experience both challenging and enjoyable. The information provided in each course was pertinent and applicable. Interaction with other PhD students was stimulating and much was learned from our dialog. All in all a great learning environment.

I started my PhD program when TU was Touro University International. I liked that I did not have to take a test to enter my PhD program or complete a practicum. I began to have mild concerns with the school breaking away from its New York sister school. To my warranted concern, the school began to undergo much transition in leadership that did not prove to benefit students. The Higher Educational Leadership PhD program left a lot to be desired. After graduating, there was nothing that I could apply in my field. I was/am basically left with a degree and debt with the lack of support from the school. There was nothing in place such as career services or help for graduates to find jobs. There were certain classes that were taken out the curriculum that I only could assume would have been useful. It would have been helpful to have a curriculum that focused more practical knowledge and application. Again, I ended up having to fall back on my prior knowledge (degrees) for employment. It would have been helpful to have had committee member choices upon setting up a dissertation committee. Most faculty could not commit because they had prior commitments. I had to switch committee members several times because they showed and lacked interest in my topic and/or tried unethical acts towards completing my dissertation that I could not allow. It would have also been helpful have someone or a class clearly outline the dissertation process as well as the role of a dissertation committee. I found out a lot on my own by learning from my classmate's experiences. I think it would be helpful to have a more diverse staff. I found it hard to work with certain staff due to cultural expectations on their part and not willing to understand mines. The cultural clash was overwhelming and very frustrating to where it became an arduous task and me just wanting to graduate and move on from the institution. I would not recommend the institution, especially the PhD program in Higher Educational Leadership.

Simply excellent. The program far exceeded my expectations. My journey with TUI, though rigorous, was enabling, insightful, and academically challenging in every aspect. I highly recommend TUI to any scholar who desires to excel and are willing to commit and aspire to academic excellence.

Enjoyed my experience; but you must be prepared to take control of your studies and responsibility for your progress. Self motivation is the key. The professors are very helpful, but in the end, it is up to you. I definitely got my money's worth.

I attended Trident University when it was Touro University. A very rigorous program with excellent professors. My dissertation chair was awesome, but was going through some personal issues that held up my dissertation for a couple of semesters -- that was a bit unsettling as I had to pay more tuition than I should have -- but, I struggled through the process and finally earned my Ph.D. in Educational Leadership. I am currently a full-time Associate Professor at a local PA university in the Education and Human Services Program. Overall, I highly recommend Trident University as it is well respected on a global basis and offers a wide array of degree programs.

Very thorough PhD coursework and dissertation development. Dr. Li is one of the best professors I ever had in all of my academic experience. I immensely dislike statistics, but she made it bearable and I left with a far better understanding of it. The changes over the years have all been positive and led to an overall comprehensively solid institution. The only negative would be the cost is a bit expensive! It definitely left me in debt for years to come.

I selected Trident for completing my PhD in Education. I made the decision due to tutition discounts for military spouses and the ability to complete the entire degree online. The staff were supportive and I felt the level of commitment was accurate to the degree level.

I completed my PhD at Trident Iniversity. I found it to be a flexible educational option with high standards and excellent faculty. My advisor was personable and was also very accessible to me when I needed assistance!
