The work is challenging and prepares you for real-time position's in the job market.

I love how I can do my school work at home and still have the ability to communicate with students and professors without having to step into a classroom. The fact that TUI is 100% online helps with my everyday life when it comes to going to work and doing things around the house. This school is one that works with my schedule and I can pretty much do schoolwork whenever I get the chance to, all in a click of a button.

This online university is not for everyone. I would say for every 2/10 potential adult students will easily strive well in this type of self-discipline, good time management skills type of learning: due to personal life issues that arise, computer, network issue etc., Without some type of financial assistance, whether it be from current employer, or government, I would have not been able to afford to pay for these classes. Fortunately, I had great financial assistance, therefore, considered blessed. My goal was to complete my masters degree, and I did with very little resistant. But, like I stated earlier, I am done with my further education for now, but depending on the potential next student referral, I would use some caution, before recommending this independent type of online study, based on the personal's habits, motivations to want to earn a online degree. This online study is not for everyone!

Professors are friendly and willing to work with students. Case study method is comprehensive and different from the teach and test method, students have more input on what they want to study. Course layout and study materials need work, broken links and sometimes unclear instructions. In the MSHS program it was very obvious a liberal agenda was being pushed on students rather than explore the different points of views.

I transferred from another university that was closing. Trident accepted all of my credits and assisted me in earning the remaining 16 credits. My experience was positive. The dean was accepting and supportive. I was fully supported throughout the IRB process, Defense and final submission of my dissertation. I highly recommend Trident University International.

The professors were knowledgeable and the courses went smoothly. The problem I had was that as I was developing my idea for a dissertation each time I approached potential advisors I was informed it was not time. Now being an associate professor teaching graduate courses I knew from that experience and colleagues I should have already been developing my chapter 3 at a minimum by the 3rd or 4th class in. That never happened. No specific guidance I pursued research in the subject and collected data to support my primary thoughts. It was the last class when we presented our proposals and that is when I found out it would not be approved. Thinking it was only me I find out that a number of fellow students complained about the same. I really failed to do my research on how the institution focused on the program and if I could have done it over I would have gone with a different institution.

no job wastage of money

Very military friendly school. Loved my experience!
