Overall a good experience
The PhD program in health sciences was good and the TUI faculty was accommodating. The dissertation process at times was difficult due to inexperience of committee members with process and topic.

My experience at Trident University was exactly what one should expect when enrolled in a doctoral program; academically challenging, time management challenging, intellectually stimulating, culturally educating, and rewarding.

I got a good education, but you messed us up when you gave up name Touro College or TUI. My degree seems to be worth less now. You lost reputation, brand equity.

My overall experience was fabulous. The teachers and courses are aligned well with curriculum along with support. The only concern I share is when you are ready to literally move into the dissertation phase. You begin by making recommendations for your committee. "If" a person of choice is not appropriate you receive an email from a dean of unknown origin with the professionalism of a peanut. For example, one person on my committee was not acceptable to her for some unknown reason. I received an email titled: Your Committee is Denied. That made me feel so appreciated and well supported - not! This dean woman is rude, unprofessional, lacks quality English when conversing with ADB students (my guess is with humans in general), and is basically a very mean person. At this point at the university I am hoping for the sake of future students the woman is gone. Her being gone would save many students much grief, depression, and anxiety. That was only one example of her circus act.

They simply drag you to make money. End up wasting a lot of time.

Though I work in an office all day, Trident offers me the ability to flex my hours with classes that are both educational and convenient. They offer me continual support as a student and are really invested in my success.

I graduated from college in 1988 and have excelled in business but one regret I have at 50 years old is not pursuing my Masters Degree. I now have layers of family and work obligation that make it complicated and overwhelming to go back to school. That was until I found Trident University. The Trident format allows me to attend college and study on my own schedule while balancing work and family life obligations. The professors have been amazing and being in class with such a diverse group of scholars (from stay at home moms to military officers) has been enlightening. Thank you Trident!
