Pathetic. I bought a marlin 7 2022 bike for my 14 year old to commute to school. £830. Within 18 months Rear mesh Brakes front and back Chain Front and back tyres Wheels need straightening Bottom bracket Hanger True and new inner gear cable All need doing How much to fix?? £400 Yes half the price of the whole bike for parts that have just literally fallen apart after 18 months.

I bought a trek madone SL7 frameset at the end of last year to build my own bike with the parts I liked. I had high expectations but after 8 months I would never buy something from them again. 1. After 5 rides and 1 of them was in rainy conditions the bottom bracket failed. The bearings were not sealed on the inside and a lot of water and dirt gets in the bike that destroys these. On other frames I never got any problems with them. 2. I had a lot of disc alignment problems with the bike, the alignment was ok for two weeks and then it started to rub again. It seemed that the frame was faced but it wasn't correct. There was also some paint on the faced surface which I didn't notice while assembling. 3. My bike is standing still in the garage for a month already now waiting for parts for the isospeed and I have a bad experience getting them. My normal bike shop was closed so I asked trek for parts, they just said i need to go to an other shop with a default mail. 1st shop: sorry those parts aren't available anymore (and that on a 8month old bike, and i was willing to buy from them without asking for a warranty case !) 2nd shop: 1 of the 2 parts were already ordered because he needed them for a different customer also and he ordered the other part, I'm still waiting on these. 3th shop, my normal bikeshop : that is normal wear and on some bikes you need to replace it more, so it's not even warranty. He could get them in one week which I doubt looking at the 2nd shop. -> this all pisses me of the most, the bike brakes down and they find it normal that you can't ride for a month and on a 8 month old bike, let alone that they see it as normal wear?? I wonder if they would also find it normal if they should replace the springs from their carseat every six months. 4. In the 8months I have the bike i still don't have the correct colored seatmast because it's "not available" but they do sell the complete bikes with the correct colored seatmast, I have no idea what the logic behind this is. Yes the bike rides nice but all the hastle upto now isn't worth it. I like a bike that you can take, jump up to and leave and not something that you need to take apart every 14 days (not counting in the normal maintenance/wear)

What a complete disappointment Trek's service has become. I've owned five Treks over the years but trying to order a Trek online is pretty much impossible. Just looked at 15 different models from $12K to $8K bikes, and not one is available. Why even list them? Trying to get one from a dealer is also ridiculous. It's time switch brands. Very disappointed!

Esperienza tragica, sono passato al marchio Trek convinto fosse prestigioso ma ho avuto un'esperienza negativissima. Acquisto la trek procaliber 9.7, dopo un mese mi accorgo che saltava il trasparente, contatto il rivenditore che apre subito il reclamo, mi rispondono in garanzia constatando che si tratta di un problema di verniciatura, sollevo la possibilità (come riferito mi da tecnici del settore) che sicuramente tale problema si sarebbe ripresentato in altri punti, mi rispondono che nel momento in cui si fosse ripresentato avrebbero provveduto alla risoluzione del problema.(quindi non ho forzato per la sostituzione del telaio) A distanza di qualche anno si verifica quanto era stato preventivato dai tecnici a cui mi sono rivolto. La casa mi risponde : '' mi spiace ma la bici è fuori garanzia '' Massima serietà.

Modtager min cykel efter et uheld, hvor jeg selv må bestille greb og gearskifter hjem, da de ikke kan skaffe dem og modtager så en cykel hvor forbremsen ikke virker og hvor sadlen og sadelpind er løse :(

Avoid this company at all cost!!!! I purchased probably my 10th trek bicycle in August 2021… it will be my last one. I purchased this particular TREK hybrid FX 2 disc XL for my 18-year-old son. Approximately a month earlier his TREK hybrid FX 7.4 Was stolen outside of a local mall near our home in St. Petersburg Florida… approximately a week after we had purchased this bike from track my son was riding his bike on the sidewalk and a car actually pulled out in front of him and he crashed his new bike into this car. He sustained low back and left shoulder injury when he hit the car. The trek bicycle on the other hand sustained catastrophic frame damage, the actual frame bent significantly in two different places. The bike was unusable because of this frame damage. Everything else on the bike was undamaged. We then called trek corporate headquarters and told them about our accident and the damage to the bike and they told us to send them pictures and explanation of what happened and they would review the damage and get back with us. We did all that and then we received A response from trek. They said that there was nothing that could be done and that we were responsible for the damage due to the collision with the car. We ask if they would sell us a New frame and they said no. They They said that this particular frame was not expensive enough to sell by itself. They told us that the only thing that you cannot buy from them by itself is a cheaper frame. They did however tell us that we could get get a new replacement trek bicycle for 15% off to help us out but then we would have to give the damaged bike all of it back to them in order to receive this deal.

J'ai achetér un vélo trek X-Caliber 9, le 16 décembre 2021 aprés moins de 7 mois le vélo à de défauts,les levier pour changer le vitesse se sont détachés et abîmés ,heureusement je n'ai pas roulé vite j'ai failli tomber, je vais au magasin ou j'ai acheter le vélo,j'ai beaucoup discuté avec le propriétaire du magasine et il me dit que trek ne couvre pas ces pièces je dois les payer quand le vélo est sous garatie, magasine a Bruxelles. voir la photo

Salve possiedo un trek procaliber 9.7 del 2019 tutta originale,mai sostituito nulla. Premetto che la bici non ha piu di 1000km per un percorso misto,un giorno noto una perdita di vernice ma lo trascurata perché dopo qualche uscita,vedo che proprio in quel punto si forma una crepa. Contatto il negoziante informandolo,mi chiede delle foto ma non bastano mi dicono di portare la bici in negozio e dopo circa un mese mi inviano la risposta inviata dalla trek dicendomi che ci sono segni di usura e botte(balle tutte balle c'e un graffio di 0.5 cm che non c'entra nulla)quindi non rientra in garanzia però se voglio una nuova bici mi fanno un sconto particolare.Bravi per loro è semplice dopo 3000€ spesi
