About Traveler's Joy

We're a small group of folks that started Traveler's Joy on a stoop in Brooklyn, NY in 2004. However, it all really started in 2003 with the serendipitous meeting of our founders at the first overnight hut of the Milford Track in New Zealand. Taking the company from a muddy hike on the South Island to the world's most popular honeymoon registry in a few short years required a lot of work. Luckily we have the best team in the world! Traveler's Joy continues to grow into a new decade and we're all very excited at what the future will bring. If you have any questions, suggestions, comments, or quotes (or just want to say "Hi!"), always feel free to contact us! You are the lifeblood of our business and the keeper of our hearts.

Great unique registry option!
Traveler's Joy was an easy and convenient option not only for my husband and I but also for our guests! The weather changed drastically the day before we left so many of the outdoor activities we had to cancel. Thankfully with Traveler's Joy you are receiving the money to use how you like not just for a specific item. Customer services is helpful and prompt. Definitely recommend if you don't want/need a traditional registry.

It's so much easier to just set a jar up for people to donate in. I didn't get a good response with this

Honeymooning made easy!
Andrew and I were able to enjoy our honeymoon to the fullest and take advantage of perks that we otherwise would not have been able to afford with the help of Traveler's Joy. The site made it easy for friends and family to give us extremely helpful and generous gifts. I would recommend this registry method to anyone who wants a memorable honeymoon!

Traveler's Joy was so convenient for us! It was the perfect option as we have been together for 8 years and already have all of the traditional registry gifts. Traveler's Joy allowed us to showcase our honeymoon, a Mediterranean cruise to Italy, France and Spain and ask for the gift of money, which we needed to ensure our honeymoon would be unforgettable. It could not have been more perfect! I got so many compliments as nearly all of our guests had never heard of this option. They are well-aware now! :) Thank you!
