About Traveler's Joy

We're a small group of folks that started Traveler's Joy on a stoop in Brooklyn, NY in 2004. However, it all really started in 2003 with the serendipitous meeting of our founders at the first overnight hut of the Milford Track in New Zealand. Taking the company from a muddy hike on the South Island to the world's most popular honeymoon registry in a few short years required a lot of work. Luckily we have the best team in the world! Traveler's Joy continues to grow into a new decade and we're all very excited at what the future will bring. If you have any questions, suggestions, comments, or quotes (or just want to say "Hi!"), always feel free to contact us! You are the lifeblood of our business and the keeper of our hearts.

Awesome
Awesome! We loved Traveler's Joy for our wedding registry. Super easy to use. We got everything we wanted (an awesome honeymoon) and nothing that we didn't (another blender).

We just were initially looking around …
We just were initially looking around the site, and had decided not to use it as a registry. However, the site has some settings where it automatically placed themselves as our registry online, so people started donating money before we had decided to use this company. We were mortified that they had this set up as a default and didn't ask us if we wanted our names published on their website before doing so.

Dear Couple, I am so sorry this happened to you. We have a partnership with The Knot to make it easy for guests to find couple registries. Once a registry is created, the registry is open to receive gifts unless the couple requests to have the registry deactivated or closed. Excellent Idea
This registry is a great idea, especially for couples who already share a home and have everything they need. Our guests were thrilled at the idea of helping us pay for our honeymoon. It made it that more special!

TravelersJoy was very easy to use and setup. Final payment of our gifts were quick and prompt after we requested our check. I would definitely recommend them to friends and family.

Loved it
We heard from so many guests how happy they were to support us on our honeymoon! Many people contributed to something they were passionate about, like a place they’ve visited and loved.
