Worst travel insurance ever!!!!!! It is associated with Carnicak cruise and maybe other cruises. They find all sorts of reasons to deny your claim if it is due to a delay in your flight. Never ever again. We contacted Carnival to complain about the horrible coverage. You must must read the fine print. They only cover if you flight is delayed to bad weather and you will lose more than 50 % of your cruise. Even after sending in documentation and haggling them for 4 months and them pretending to pay they send a denial of the claim. Then it is too late to dispute with your cc. I say they are total scams and I will tell everyone to warn them off the horrible service

Total scam of “insurance “. I recently had to cancel a trip to Mexico, on my doctor’s direct recommendation after becoming pregnant, due to the prevalence of the Zika virus (which causes serious and permanent brain damage to a fetus, among other medical issues). However, I was informed that the insurance only covers “sickness”, which they did not define much further in their correspondence, and my claim has been denied (twice, including an appeal). The intent of the travel insurance is to cover medical issues, but since this does not precisely meet the wording of the contract, apparently extreme and imminent medical danger to my unborn child doesn’t count. I will never use this “insurance” again!!

After cruising for 10 years, we had to cancel our trip due to an injury. I got all documents and received payment in full 3 weeks and 3 days later. The whole process made the health ordeal a lot less worrisome.

I think a class action lawsuit should be filed against AON Travel Insurance for their business practices! They make you verify things that they already have verification on! They change the requirements of what is needed to process your claim! My flight was cancelled due to the snowstorm! I sent verification from Jet Blue! Then was told I needed verification of how I tried to get to the cruise ship! WHAT?!?? Never again!!! I don’t know what others will do but t I will NEVER use AON Travel Insurance again! AON only insures to make sure they keep your insurance money to line their purses with! Reps probably receive bonuses for each claim they deny! Fast to take your money to take out the insurance but refuse to pay your claim! Every person that has horrible experiences with AON should file claim with Better Business Bureau (BBB) and the State’s Attorney General Office to stop their practices or put them out of business. I believe the positive reviews are fake!

If u are traveling don’t waste your money on travel insurance from this company. They are a scam. They torment you hoping you will give up. Supplying them with documentation has become a full time job for me. Every time I call they just keep wanting more information. Please don’t use them

I purchased Aon Affinity Travel insurance through Travelocity in 2015. I had to cancel the trip due to a cyst that developed around my spinal nerves which left me debilitated and unable to travel. ( In fact, I had to have neurosurgery to remove the cyst.) The cyst was not discovered until after I booked flights for my husband and I. It was not a pre-existing condition. I canceled the trip, competed a lengthy questionnaire from Aon, talked with several representatives, sent in an MRI that showed a cyst wrapped around my spinal nerves, sent several emails, physician letters, surgery documentation, xrays———-. It is 4 years later, after representatives promised me a refund, I have not received anything. My most recent action was filing a complaint with the New York Attorney General’s office.

I had to cancel my cruise due to an unexpected pregnancy and was advised by my doctor to not travel because of the Zika virus. They refused to refund my money even with a doctors notice.

I paid for a cruise that was to take place in Aug. In mid July I had a detached retina and the gas bubble they put in my eye prevented me from flying. Change in altitude would have caused permanent blindness. I contacted AON, submitted the requested documents and was refunded the full cost of the cruise in less than two weeks. I was thankful I added trip insurance to my cruise.
