I purchased a cruise with Norwegian to Europe but had to cancel because of medical issue. I was glad i purchased a travel insurance with "CANCEL FOR ANY REASON" written on their front page of their website. What a deceptive tactic! Please read the fine prints. Do not buy from Aon. They will find a way to deny you it diesn't matter what documentation you have. Go with a reputable travel insurance provider.

never ever buy any trip insurance, specially from this company Aon , sucks company, they never will give you anything and will ask you million documentation which you can't collect

I suffer with a severe form of temporal lobe epilepsy and purchased Trip Cancellation Insurance from Aon Affinity when I purchased my ticket from Travelocity. After having my neurologist go out of his way to provide not one but two replies in satisfying the company’s request (including two dictations with signatures, etc.) and dealing with incompetent claims examiners, they still would not reimburse me for the flight. When I tried reaching-out to them directly on their website they would NOT reply at all and I received ABSOLUTELY NO CUSTOMER SERVICE WHATSOEVER !! As a satisfied client, I would have provided positive feedback on the social networks (Google, Yelp!, etc.) Reviews will now reflect my negative experience. By contrast, customer service I’ve dealt with in the past (from companies such as TravelEx Insurance, for example), came through with no hassle whatsoever. And so I figured I'd give Aon some new business which sadly proved to be a mistake !! DO NOT take out Trip Cancellation with Aon Affinity !!
