I had to cancel an expensive, long cruise due to the sudden onset of medical symptoms 2 weeks before the cruise. My doctor medically advised cancellation. After he wrote his statement I submitted my claim with every item required. It only took AON one month to review and approve the full amount refunded.

I was forced to cancel a B2B2B because of medical reasons. I filed 3 separate claims on October 20th and October 28th and I have already received payment for 2 segments with an indication that the 3rd segment was closed in a similar fashion. My ONLY complaint is that the reference number on the checks gives me no indication as to which claim submitted is being paid by each check. Once I figured out how to scan my supporting documents in an acceptable fashion to present on-line, the process was a piece of cake. Knock on wood, I have no problem with the company or the service I received. I'll be even happier when the 3rd set of checks arrives.

We purchase AON Travel Insurance through Prncess Cruises and we always purchase the "Cancel for any reason". First time we were only able to receive Future Cruise credits which was ok with us sense we cruise alot. Second time was for a health problem that wife was hospitalized and we received part FCC and part cash. No problems either time and we found AON easy to deal with.

We got Covid on a cruise and had to quarantine for a full week in a hotel. We had bought travel insurance through our agent. It was AON. The process to file a claim could have been much easier. They make you figure out which parts of your claim fit which claim type. That is the hardest part. Once we had that figured out, I filed the claim online and submitted all the receipts. They had me submit the onboard medical bill to my health insurance. To my surprise my health insurance paid a little of it. In the end AON paid us what we were owed. It took over 2 months after filing the claim to get checks, but we did. What prevented this from being a 5-star review is how they make you figure out which buckets the claim goes into. They should be helpful with that. It is clear the intent is to make people give up and just eat the loss. That said I don’t plan to travel internationally again without insurance.

I just read though the reviews of AON travel insurance and I am surprised to see that most are unfavorable. I would like to add a positive review. In May 2019 my husband and I took a 22 day Mediterrean cruise on Princess and purchased insurance through Princess. On day 9 of the cruise my husband had a medical issue that caused us to have to leave the cruise in Maderia, Portugal. He was hospitalized there for 5 days. The AON representative was very helpful and as soon as my husband received medical clearance to fly AON arranged and prepaid our flights home. Within 4 weeks I received full reimbursement for all medical expenses and reimbursement for the 13 days of the cruise that we did not complete. I was very satisfied with the was my claim was handled

I booked a 12 day cruise to Hawaii and unfortunately hurt my back and could not fly the 13 hour flight from Boston to Honolulu. After contacting Royal Caribbean and canceling my trip they directed me to file a claim with Aon. I submitted the medical form they sent me through email and my Dr also wrote a letter explaining my injury and why I couldn't fly. To be honest after reading the reviews of this company online I didn't think I would be reimbursed. I emailed Aon once during the investigation to check the status and they told me claims typically take 4 weeks. Almost 4 weeks to the day I submitted the claim I received an email saying I won the claim and they woul mail out a check within 2 business days. I was still a little skeptical thinking I would have to wait for my money. Two days later I had a check in my mailbox for almost the whole cost of the trip. I got almost everything back except for a $300 nonrefundable deposit. I was very happy with the service of Aon and the timely manner my claim was handled in. Thank you. Robert .F
