Horrible, was an absolute rip off, charged hundreds in "penalty". Royal Caribbean" uses AON this insurance company and I will NEVER use them again, it left a very sour taste in my mouth. Lost a ton of money the health scare (cancer) my travel partner experienced was deemed not serious enough. Was a novice cruiser at that point, but having done my homework since have found many much much better options. Strongly recommend to look elsewhere.

Absolutely the WORST insurance company I ever had to deal with. Difficult to reach, make promises like 'I will get to the bottom of this and call you back today' and never call back. Repeatedly make mistakes. Try to overcharge us in the end for our insurrance out of contract!!! Absolute SCAM! DO NOT GET AN INSURANCE HERE, ANYTHING IS BETTER THAN AON INSURANCE.

AON is a scam I paid $112 for a total protection plan for a car rental in Italy. I had a few scratches to the side mirror. The rental agency charged me $158 for the damage when I returned the car. I filed a claim upon returning to the USA. After about 6 weeks, I received an email with attached letter denying the entire claim. They give you no options for contacting anyone directly and you can't reply to the email. After running the complaint thru my credit card company and 3 months time, I received a letter and check for $94.20. They claim that the insurance doesn't cover administrative fees. So, they deducted $63.80 in fees. SCAM

I got this insurance through Celebrity Cruises. The cruise was terrific, but the insurance was worthless. Celebrity should reconsider using this thoroughly dishonest company. I'm going to complain to Celebrity.

NEVER NEVER Ever use this so called trip insurance company. Not really different from a scam. I had bad experience with claim resolution after losing items in the Dominican Republic.

Do NOT buy trip insurance from Aon (Expedia). Our fight got cancelled and the airline said that we had to contact Aon to file a claim. Our claim got denied so we are out a few hundred bucks. Save your money and skip the trip insurance.

Gives you the impression that you're covered when you're not. Unless you read through everything you'll be unpleasantly surprised when you try to file a claim.

We booked a trip to the Dominican Republic in February 2019. In March 2019, I was experiencing some strange headaches and other symptoms and went to my PCP who then referred me to Cleveland Clinic Neurology. I saw a neurologist in Cleveland in May 2019, and he ordered an MRI scan which was performed in June 2019. Later in June, because I was continuing to feel ill and had other strange symptoms, we canceled our vacation. We purchased Aon Trip Insurance at the time of booking. All paperwork was completed and submitted for reimbursement. Aon adjusters state I have a "pre-existing condition" and will not reimburse almost $2,000 for our trip. DO NOT use this travel insurance company- they will not honor your claim. If this particular situation is not eligible for reimbursement, I'm not sure what is. This is a scam company.
