I've been a customer for nearly 18 years. Cell service is fantastic in Chicago so I decided to try the internet service. Worst decision ever!! It's been 3-months of suffering with countless hours on the phone with tech support. Download speeds of 0.01 mbps and Pings around 500-1200 m/s. Yes, you read that right... 0.01 mbps download speeds! Completely unusable. I replaced the modem and the SIM card too. I finally called to request cancelation and a refund... management denied me. In my opinion, T-mobile should be paying US to be their internet service guinea pigs. Charging customers $65 per month for this non-service is bogus. Thanks for nothing Andrew @ T-mobile.

Most Terrible Customer Service
Most Terrible Customer Service - It has been a highly frustrating experience dealing with T-Mobile staff. I was trying to switch my service to this provider based on their low pricing, but kept receiving conflicting, confusing and changing information on the currently available incentives. Calling their customer service was a hugely disappointing experience as I was transferred four times to different agents in some foreign country and spent over two hours on the phone with no results. Went to a local T-Mobile store to activate new service but after an hour or so was told that they were unable to start my service as their systems were down.
Would give them a ZERO rating if I could.
SAVE YOUR TIME AND STAY AWAY FROM T-MOBILE…

Travellers beware
Any foreign travelers who want to purchase a sim through them should be aware that they DO NOT accept foreign credit cards - their CS will waste your time having you try to make the purchase only to tell you at the very end that they only accept US cards.
That would be weird enough, since T-mobile is a big US company I think its weird they cant accept foreign transactions, but on top of that their CS agents (Paul and his "manager" Denise, who I'm pretty sure was the same person) will refuse to transfer you to management and ask you to ask a friend to pay for you.
It was just a very weird, unprofessional experience. I didn't expect such treatment from a company as established as this. I don't think anyone needs to get involved with this company, they seem pretty sketchy.

Their idea of customer service is a joke
These guys have regularly offered the most abysmal service I have ever seen. The level of incompetence and lack of real concern about the issues they foist upon their customers is just astounding. I've been with these jokers for over 8 years and for the most part, they couldn't find their backsides with a map. Now, after using my account and managing it online and n the App for over 8 years, all of a sudden they tell me I don't have an online account, and then proceed to put me through several hours of hold (listing to music that is so loud that I have to turn the phone down and then can't hear the agent on another continent when they finally do get on the line. First their excuse was "gee, just wait 24 hours and it should all be ok - but we'll call you back tomorrow just to follow up", a call that never came. Can't speak to a representative in the USA - nope, I get to speak to someone in a foreign country who claims to "understand my frustration". These jerks have wasted my time over and over - hours at a time trying to fix their screw ups, and they have the nerve to say "Sir, we don't tolerate that language".
Let me tell you something: You've earned ire of every one of the customers you've angered by the level of incompetence you routinely bring to the table. They don't even have the courage to respond to reviews. These guys are absolutely the worst and not worth the angst and aggravation I routinely receive from them.
Why does it take a customer asking to escalate the issue? Why do they train their low level employees to obstruct their customers requests and prevent them from speaking to someone who may potentially BE competent? This is not the way to do business, and these guys routinely impede my ability to service MY customers because I am on the phone with them for hours. Maybe if they stopped paying their executives 20 times more than they do their employees and actually hired some real people, in the country where the customer resides to handle the issues they create, there might be a bump in "customer satisfaction" which is their cuter marketing catch phrase, but little more as evidenced by the experiences regularly reported by their customers.
This company knows nothing at all about providing real customer service, and doesn't even have a customer retention department.
Don't walk - run. Go somewhere else. These guys aren't worth the hard earned money you make, and they don't deserve it.

TMobile Accidentally Withdrew $1299.99
T-Mobile thought I didn't return my old phone and thus withdrew $1,299.99 from my checking account almost 2 weeks ago. They confirmed 9 days ago (8/28) that I did indeed return the phone and I would be issued a refund in 3-5 business days. On 8/30 I received a text that they need more info to process my claim. Thinking this was phishing, I called T-Mobile. They said the claim from 8/28 was closed due to not receiving this info. I said I was asked for this info just 15 minutes ago. I gave them the info and still anticipated a refund by 9/2. On 8/31, I call my local store and the manager reviewed the notes. He said it was approved on 8/31 and I would receive a refund in 48-72 hours (which would be 9/3). It's now 9/7 and I still don't have the $1,299.99 refunded. I've been on the phone and social media messaging for hours trying to get a concrete date and no one has a concrete answer. For example, the CSR on Twitter told me it would be just a matter of hours I would receive my refund. This was on 9/4. I have screen shots of all of these convesations. This isn't a matter of refunding $20, $50 or even $200. This is more than my mortgage payment and it's not b/c I returned some costly appliance, it's b/c they screwed up and now my family suffers. On Saturday I was assigned someone from an "executive response team". She called me but on my 13-year-old's phone, a number that was never communicated as a way to get ahold of me. I called her back and emailed her. No response. Called and emailed her yesterday, no response. Called today and again, no response. I've never in my life had such poor customer service from a big name company.
