Warning- not that you can't get a set of good tires from here, the problem comes if the tires aren't. The price is great until something goes wrong. I purchased 4 tires and when I had them mounted they didn't live up to standards. After dealing with an uninformed customer service rep, I was able to speak with someone who could help- easy-peasy after this. Sent tires back with paperwork- took a few weeks but I was notified my refund was on its way. Then more bad news. I wasn't being refunded the price I paid for the tires- they took $150.00 for shipping and handling. In the end my $600.00 tires from Tirebuyer ended up costing me $1100.00. All in all to save from the unexpected, I would recommend not buying tires on line.

Ordered tires, selected installer and scheduled apt. Tires delivered quickly, arrived at installer and was told installation price was nearly double what I prepaid. "Customer Service" at first offered to reimburse me for installation and then rescinded that offer and demanded the purchase be cancelled and the tires returned. I said no way - I bought the tires in good faith and took the AM off of work to get them installed and I wanted the deal I paid for. They were unprofessional and unhelpful. I paid the installer his regular charge and will file chargeback against this company. Should have stayed with Tire Rack. Avoid Tirebuyer like the plague. sells tires that they do not have in stock. Slow if any refund. They will print a ups label and say the tires are on the way. Weeks later they stick to that story. Scam company. Hard to get refund. STAY AWAY

Big company and very big lier. I order the tires and pay for it. They never ship it and bring excuses. I will not recommend to buy anything from them.

It's been a pretty atrocious experience so far. After completing my order and scheduling an installation appointment, they never contacted me, never sent a confirmation email, and never fulfilled my appointment. It's a good thing I took a screenshot of my order confirmation or i'd be in trouble. I've reached out to reschedule. We'll see how it goes from here. Don't expect a good or easy experience though. Update, after 3 times calling back, and 3 times supposedly scheduling new appointments, I never got a single email, no one ever showed up and I never got a tire. Avoid at all costs.

I previously used Tirebuyer.com and had a good experience. This time around, they were offering a good price on the tires I wanted, so I put in an order for five. I received an order confirmation, but nothing else until several days later when I received a cancellation notification. On getting the cancellation, I called in and the agent confirmed there had been a technical issue, but it had been resolved and I can just reorder (with a 10% coupon for the trouble). I placed my reorder and again received an order confirmation, but no other notifications. After a few days I called in to double-check the order and the agent confirmed the order looked good, the product was in inventory, and my order should be shipping in the next 24-hours or so. Several more days go by and I get another cancellation due to fulfillment -this time for my reorder. I called in again and this time was told that there was a warehouse routing issue that had not been resolved and I would have to wait several more days before placing another reorder. I was again given the same 10% coupon offering. I was also told that if I didn't want to wait or risk another cancellation I might need to shop elsewhere. So, now I'm delayed even more with nothing more than a hassle and a need to find a new supplier (where I will probably end up paying more, but hopefully will have my order fulfilled). Disappointed.

My initial review: Tire buyer did their best to resolve an issue with 2 Uniroyal tires that in my estimation were defective when new . There was a shake indicating tire/tires out of balance or defective when first installed. The installer thought this was caused by a defective wheel so I replaced the wheel . Same result. I had the tires rebalanced again by a company called Tire Town and again the problem persisted. I took the car back to Tire Town and they inspected the tires and found the 2 rear tires to be cupped causing the problem. I reported this to Tire buyer on their form with pictures, measurements dot # etc. Their next recommendation was that I ship these tires to the manufacture for their inspection and determination as to whether and if there would a warranty refund. The value of the time and effort to deal with this problem has far exceeded the likely monetary result so I have chosen to cut my losses and replace these tires at my convenience keeping in mind this experience. I did buy 4 new tires and decided to go ahead and give the warranty a shot to see if I could recoup part of the time and expense. As this is an AWD vehicle it is recommended that all tires be the same size and manufacture. The wheels are turning so we will see. Date of experience: September 12, 2023 Update: The final conclusion as I understand it was that the Manufacture determined that the tire damage was caused by a mechanical defect. Interestingly the car was taken to a dealer to check out a recall on November 16 2023. The issue did not exist on this car. The dealer also performed a multipoint inspection on November 16 . The only fault noted was a slight oil leak in the engine compartment. IMHO Tire Buyer fulfilled its obligation and the manufacture did not. Very expensive lesson in time and money learned here. No more Uniroyal tires for me.
