We recently joined Thryv to help us get on top of our marketing, and Tracy-Ann made the whole onboarding process so easy. She was incredibly knowledgeable, helpful and patient throughout the onboarding and training. She explained everything clearly, answered all of our questions, and made what could have felt quite overwhelming feel really manageable. Thryv has been a total scam. They trick you into a weird contract, I have never actually seen the printed ad. I tried canceling services 9 months ago, and the guy said no problem, he will take care of it. Fast forward to last week, we are now getting sent to collections for $1600 for an ad we have never seen before. And on top of that, I just got an email from thryv saying we owe them another $460?? I do not recommend at all.

Terrible company. Tried to contact someone in customer service to cancel. Couldn't get anyone to call me back. We stopped paying our bill due to no follow through. They sent us to collections. I requested a supervisor to speak to. The gatekeepers at customer service wouldn't furnish a phone number to escalate the situation. They told me someone would call me back and they haven't done so as promised. Unfair and deceptive business practices, no follow through, and poor customer service are the best way I can describe this company. Stay away.

A warning for other small business owners: read your marketing contract before you sign — and ask for a copy in writing. I signed up with Thryv earlier this year for marketing and website services. Here's what I've run into since asking to cancel, documented from my own account: **No copy of my contract.** I've asked for copies of the agreements I signed. They haven't been sent to me. **No contracts visible online.** There's no place in the customer portal where I can pull up or download my own signed agreements. **No way to cancel online.** Cancellation can't be done from the dashboard — you have to go through a person. **No way to remove my credit card.** I can't delete my payment method from their system myself. **Customer service is a dead end.** When you call the customer service number, you're routed to an offshore call center, and the person you actually need to talk to is never available. **My cancellation request was ignored.** I sent formal written notice on August 28 asking for confirmation of cancellation, an effective date, an itemized final invoice, and no further charges without written authorization. **My salesperson won't take my call.** He won't answer the phone — just sends back vague texts and won't answer direct questions. He also declined to give me the name, email, or phone number of his director so I could escalate. If you're a small business owner considering a marketing contract: get a signed copy in your hands before you pay anything, confirm in writing how you cancel, and know exactly who you escalate to when your rep stops answering.

The overall experience with Thrive very helpful and rewarding as they made it very easy to set up and establish our online business advertising. We are very proud of what we achieved through their encouragement and professionalism.
