I received notice from ERCOT that my service had been switched to Think Energy per my request on May 16. As of today, I have called 3 times to ask when I would receive notice that I can create an account. I was told all 3 times it would be in a”day or two”. The last time I called, I was informed the system was saying I am in pending status. This is unacceptable. I wonder why it is taking so long to conduct a routine operation of having an account activated.

I have spent two days and several hours of multiple phone calls just trying to establish electrical service. The oncor website which i was directed to lead me through the start up process EXCEPT i needed a temp service for new home build. So after setting it all up and choosing a provider and paying my deposit, Think terminated it next day so that I had to start all over and request temp service with a new esid number and yes a NEW Higher electric rate. The website pages ask confusing questions I dont know whether they need a builder info or owner infor and I will probably have to do ANOTHER account for permanent which means ANOTHER rate change. I already hate you.
