Aug 6th 2022- order 981300 confirmed, value approx $800 Aug 12th I emailed to query delivery as nothing received / no dispatch details emailed - a problem with stock that noone had spotted before my query Aug 15-19 several emails to choose a different item given stock issue Aug 19 I again query delivery and told will be dispatched the week ahead Aug 24th chased on email - no reply Aug 26th - chased again concluding "I don't know what to do now other than ask you to cancel the order and refund me in full". No reply I have now raised a chargeback via my bank. So - no plants, no communication, no refund. Fraud? Or just useless? So thank you not one little bit for helping me create a new home for my family after or emigration to NYC. You have wasted my time and my money.

I recently ordered a “ Monstera Deliciosa - Medium / Grant / Cream” from here and it arrived timely and in perfect condition!! It was bigger and better than possible imagined! 20/10 rating!!! Thank you The Sill!

June 6 – I ordered a plant that was to be sent as a gift. June 15 – The plant had still not shipped. I emailed customer service (because there is no telephone number). June 16 – I received a message reply stating the plant I ordered was no longer in stock. No one contacted me about this prior to this email. They ensured me that if I chose a replacement it would be sent with "top priority." June 20 – The plant had still not shipped. I again contacted customer service. They ensured me this new plant would be shipped in a few days. June 22 – I received a confirmation that the plant shipped. I do not consider 10 days to be expedited shipping. I'm embarrassed that this gift will arrive so late and I will never be using Sill again, nor will I recommend this company. I’m completely disappointed in their customer service practices, especially since there is no contact phone number for time sensitive matters such as this. "Orders with standard shipping will ship within 2-6 business days. Tracking information will be automatically sent to your email. Once in transit, packages take 1-4 business days to arrive.”

NEVER order from The Sill. I ordered 5 plants in 3 separate orders around the same time and all arrived dead or died shortly after. Customer service is really hard to get ahold of - they didn't respond to me until I opened a charge back with my bank.

I placed my order on 5/4 after seeing an ad for guaranteed shipping by Mother's Day. It is now over 2 weeks later and I have yet to receive any confirmation that my order has even shipped. I reached out to customer service twice and they simply said the item I ordered was being shipped directly from a vendor. I have emailed twice more to cancel and request a refund and no one from the company has responded. I will never be ordering from The Sill again.

I noticed that there were some little black bugs crawling on my monstera soon after I received my order. I did some googling and realized they were fungus gnats. I immediately tried to treat the infestation by wiping down the leaves and spraying the leaves with a solution to prevent gnats from landing on the leaves. Fast forward to spring. I go to repot my plant as it was growing big and quickly, and when I remove the plant from the pot I find HUNDREDS of fungus gnats eggs. Never in my life have I seen an infestation that bad and I’ve had multiple plants. None of my other houseplants are showing signs of an infestation (thank god). I decided to remove as much of the original soil as possible and treat the roots and new soil to prevent the infestation from coming back but we'll see if it works. Bottom line: I received a plant with an awful pest infestation and therefor I will NEVER buy a plant from this company again and wouldn’t recommend this company to any of my friends.

I ordered 7 plants online, and some potting mix. The big palm and potting mix never arrived, even though it said “delivered” and a couple of the other plants that did arrived were badly damaged. I’ve been trying to reach them for 2 weeks, there’s no phone number, no one available on live chat, and they’re slow to respond to email and vague about resolving my issue. Definitely don’t recommend this company, and May end up contacting my bank to try and claim a credit card issue due to the $100 that’s just gone. **edit** it gets worse: the Sill responded below to say that they would contact me “today” to sort this out, and that was yesterday. Absolutely terrible, liars.

I ordered $300 worth of plants and was very excited to try this website out based on advertising and the website’s pictures. All 6 plants came damaged in some form. A couple were partly due to transportation, but the fiddle and bird of paradise were in unacceptable condition. Torn leaves, brown/yellow, leaf turning, dust accumulation. The fiddle is bare looking and nothing like the photos. I reached out for a refund because there’s no way I want to go through the unboxing process again. I haven’t heard back from customer service about my request after I sent many pictures of the damaged plants. I’m very disappointed because I spent a lot of money for “quality” and could have bought local instead. It’s surprising they send plants that are clearly not in good shape, knowing well that the customer would not choose them if they were shopping at a nursery. Definitely a quality control/assurance issue.
