I am very disappointed with this project and the extreme lack of respect these "creators" have for the people that gave their hard earned money. Not only do they refuse to ship lamps, but they also refuse to respond to any backers questions if they don't like the "tone" of the message. I feel like they have been increasingly misleading and dishonest. Now the only response you get it that an update is coming soon and lamps are still shipping. Not sure to who. I have messaged several times on Facebook as they requested. They have told me different dates and time lines, all of which are not true. I have asked to pay the express shipping (which is BS considering I already paid for shipping), but they don't have the lamp I ordered so they will only do so if I change what I wanted to something they have an over stock of. They told me the unit I want isn't available with a US plug but that they have one with a UK plug. I can get a lamp with additional shipping and pay for a plug converter on top of the $200+ I have already spent almost 3 years ago. They have been working on the UK order for a long long time and refuse to answer any questions any backer has. Stating they are still working. I don't really see how. Seems like they are making and shipping 1 lamp at a time. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE! They don't communicate and have nothing but empty promises. Update: Lampster reached out to me on FB after posting this review. They asked when I would be online. After responding I haven't heard another word from them. Today is day 6. Such a joke. Horrid service. Update #2: After a few more days and more messages, they finally responded that my lamp should ship within a 5 day window. I responded that I am skeptical. They responded that it will ship 100%. We will see. I will update when that time comes. I have been told on a few occasions that the lamp would ship and it never did. Might be more of the run around. Still recommending that you DO NOT buy form these people Update #3: I got my lamp. It is cute. Bigger than I expected. Had a real hard time getting it to connect with my phone. I contacted support on FB and SURPRISE they got back to me right away (when I was asking when it would ship or for any update they would take weeks to respond). I did exactly what they said no less than 7 times and it finally connected. They have issues with android phones. While I do like the look of the lamp and the function, I am still extremely not happy with the service for the product. The lack of clarity and communication was ridiculous. It is hard to find trust in a company that isn't even up front with where they are based. My recommendation stands: I would not order form these people again, and I would not recommend this to anyone. If you want a Lampster, there are several on Ebay and several companies that sell similar items.

Defective product, sent missing the tools to assemble, and NO customer service support. I hold Kickstarter responsible too.

UPDATE: The creators have made no effort to improve. Instead of shipping lamps, they are censoring negative reviews here and on KS, and have implied that shipping will be delayed for people leaving negative feedback. Absolute SCAM! Save yourself the headache and keep your money. These guys misled people from the start by claiming to be based in the US, but they are from Romania. They raised over $1.3M on Kickstarter, another $1.4M on Indiegogo, and continue to sell through their independent website. They raised over $3M in 2015 for a product said to be delivered in 2016. They never delivered. They’ve given numerous “reasons” for the delays promising several new delivery dates that have all come and gone. They refuse to provide updates, refuse to provide inventory and numbers on manufacturing status and shipping, and refuse to respond to questions on Kickstarter or their email. They selectively answer comments and only provide generic copy-paste vague responses. They refer people from KS to FB to their storefront email for answers, where they don’t respond for months only to finally tell people they have no additional information. They have almost zero evidence of the lamps being delivered aside from claims made by the creators. They don’t take the time to provide useful information to the backers, but their own social media shows them traveling the world and giving talks at TED and Rockit conferences on the success of their campaign. This clearly appears to be a campaign that was only used to promote themselves and scam people out of their money. They refused to provide refunds, and this has gone on so long now that there is no way to get money back from our banks, credit card companies, or the vendor themselves. STAY AWAY!!!!

A complete scam, copy pasted automatic answers over email. No deliveries, no refunds... don't support this company in one way or the other! if you want support with legal actions, please let me know

3 years, soon to be 4 after Order on IGG, still no trace of tracking / update on my order. No answer to requests 6 months ago... After Trust pilot review, I finally got an answer : Hi Jeremy , You've been very kind, and we thank you. We still produce them and you will have your order for sure. I can't give you specific details, but you will have it in a couple of months. The process is very hard because they are custom made as you may know. Thank you very much for your patience! I'm going on 2 years waiting for my product. Anytime I get a response to an inquiry about when the product might be shipped, I get some random nonsensical answer. I got a message that products would be shipping to my "area" in August. Not sure how geography plays into their supply chain but needless to say that didn't happen. The next message said that products were shipping to the UK and because of that there was no way to tell when mine would ship. This was the last answer I received: "All orders will be delivered. They are shipped in containers so that’s why there is no date." Reading the other reviews most folks have been waiting three years or more, so I guess I'm premature in expecting a product.

The Lampster 💚 Hello little guy 🙌 After more than three years of waiting, the coolest @kickstarter product I've ever bought has found its way to me 😍 And I find it phenomenally cool! 😁 It is well made and has sweet little details like the high quality fabric cable. The waiting time was shortened with small accessories, which you got to. So my Army Lampster now has shoes and a halter 💪 He has over 120 LEDs that are adjustable via app in all RGB colors and light temperature. And the app works great! He van turn of if I leave the room and shine with the beat of the music. $ 30,000 was needed. Over $ 1,300,000 has been funded - from a small idea to this huge project. Only the little guy remained almost unchanged ... And what can I say? I don't want to get peoples hopes up - but I received my Lampster three years after paying them! Long story short - I posted here and there about their lack of fulfilment and conversed via email about 12 times over this period. In December, they asked me to pay $45 USD to expedite postage - I refused. Then, I got a notification from UPS a few weeks saying that a package was coming from Romania. What!? Really!?
