LampsterReviews of thelampster.com

Finally received it!!! After a long wait, the army green lampster sits on my desk. Have to admit that this thing looks awesome and it brings a fine touch in my room that is stuffed with army things as I am an airsoft passionate. Now what you need to know when buying this, is that you don't buy it for the light that it makes in your room (even tough the light is more than enough), you buy it for the story it tells. Great work, guys!

I have ordered this piece of art a while ago and must admit that it took longer to arrive than I was expecting. Nevertheless, all the waiting has been forgotten once I received it. During unboxing my husband told me that I looked like a child on christmas unboxing his present. The quality of materials are better than expected. I was a little bit anxios as I was reading that in some cases the lapster arived with cracked glass due to transportation, or that the neck is loose. Not the case. The head of the lamp sits in any position you want, and the cord that comes from the head does not represent a problem. This piece trully puts the personal mark in my room.

I backed this on Kickstarter. Updates to backers seemed to ceased around fall of 2019. I messaged them in winter of 2018, and was asked to wait patiently for US shipments. Once I got my kickstarter back lamp I was planning on buying more as gifts, but alas I have no lamp. Where are these guys? Update: The person managing the FB messenger account is responsive. They are now asking for a $40 shipping charge when originally there was no shipping charge. It’s now Q2 of 2020, you don’t think waiting around for 4 years is worth just sending me the lampster as planned without also asking for more money? Update 2: Finally received my Lampster after paying the additional shipping. The little additional touches to the packaging was great, job well done there. My only complaint outside of the lack of updates to Kickstarter backers on Kickstarter is that the Brass Touch Button is defective. It does not respond to a simple touch. I end up having to use the palm of my hand for it to recognize its being touched. Is there a fix for this?

I backed this project on Kickstarter and once I got my red artsy at home I had to buy a second blue one; the first one is dedicated to light up my room and the second to illuminate my desk. I added to the blue one a scarf that I made and now is even cooler than it already was, that's another thing that I like about my lampsters, they are very powerful, useful, gorgeous to look at, funny and adaptable to all your need. If I could, I'd buy a third, maybe a black artsy =)

The lamp arrived after i took the individual shipping option (35 euro for me) and even if I was a bit unsure, its here. The package is really nice and the lamp itself is very well made. I had an extra glass in the box (by mistake?).

More than a lamp! Its conversation starter and when i have somebody new in the house i tell them the storry. Its much bigger then in the pictures.

Have chosen the separate shipping option and the lamp arriverd around 20 days later. Its very nice but a long wait.

I had issues using the app and I could not connect to the lamp. Was pretty upset but with the new update it works. It look it was a compatibility problem. Thx for the update!
