LampsterReviews of thelampster.com

Its much bigger than expected. To be honest, if it wasnt the shipping delay, I would have bought at least another one. Thx for a unique lamp.

I had an issue with the Lampster and i have to say that on the warranty part i was pleasant surprised. Everything was exchanged and even received a small gift. Thank you, guys!

Cool product, slow delivery for the Kickstater backers. I have received the one from the campaign and bought another one fron the website. The one from the website came in 12 days. Besides that, the lamp is really cool.

Contacted these guys on facebook as I was facing issues with the app, i could not connect to the lamp. The guy that handles facebook was prompt and told me that I should wait for an update that it's about to be released, and in case I still face issues to contact them again, and this is what I've done. The guy guided me through each step and it turns out that the issue was due to a battery saving setting that I had on my phone.

Got my Black Army Lampster since 05/2018. It’s awesome, the whole family loves it. We even kept it overnight for the little ones. Absolutelly no problems with it

After reading the story behind the lampster I decided to order one, even though the odds were not favourable as reading all over the internet these guys were not very trustfull and the general impresion was that it's a complete waste of money. Nothing more wrong than this! The story this little guy that sits on my desk tells, worth every penny spent on it. The cord that comes from the back of this guys head does not represent a problem as I was reading through various other reviews on internet. The quality of the paint is top notch, the balance between the cold/warm ligh is exactly what you need and makes this lamp perfect for any activity that you want.

Terrible treatment of their Kickstarter backers. these guys took my money almost 7 years ago, and built their business with it. They are selling products online now and have no intention to send me the product which I backed, or fulfill their promises to their multitude of backers from Kickstarter or IndieGoGo campaigns which they ran back to back. Every 6 months or so they claim "shipping soon" but there is no intention by them to fulfill their promised orders. They are now demanding additional money in order to ship products out. Total Scam Behaviour.

... and that should be recommendation enough. But beside of that - my Army Lampster was worth waiting for. I was one of the Kickstarter Backers who waited for "their" Lampster for years. But all the anger and mistrust where gone when I got the parcel in my hand and wrapped it out. The Design is stylish, the quality is good, the lamp works well and the handling with the App is easy. During the time I had several contacts to the customer service. They where always friendly and helpful. In our times we know the concept of instant pleasure very well. We spend money and get the things we paid for in hours or days. For me it was a good experience to have the chance to accompany a product nearly from the first idea. I saw it rise and where witness of the development and the production until I finally got it in my hand. There are designers, engineers and people in the production who stand behind the Lampster with all of their heart. This is, what makes "My LAMPSTER" for me more than just a Lamp.
