Finally took the decision to get individual shippinng, it was 40$ for me. The lamp arrived in less than 2 weeks with UPS. Package is well packed so no damages during transportation. The lamp looks cool, nicely painted and is buit with quality materials.

I pledged for this nice lamp on Kickstarter and I did not think I would get it but I did. Yesterday!!!! I absolutely love it! The little guy is now my best friend.

Over four years waiting for my lamp from Kickstarter. Absolute joke!

We are sorry for the delays and extra costs involved for the Kickstarter project. Back then, when you pledged on Kickstarter, you paid for bulk (group) shipping. At the moment, individual shipping is the only option to ship your lamp. Unfortunately, shipping costs have gone up a lot as compared to the pledge (currently it is USD 120). You can check current shipping costs for a package of 5-6kg yourself. The money goes to UPS, the shipping company used by us to ship our products. The price of our lamps have also gone up, due to the increase of manufacturing costs (they now cost EUR 315). At present, we do not think bulk shipping is going to be resumed, because shipping costs have gone up a lot and most customers have opted for individual shipping. All 200 units we manufacture monthly leave our warehouse via individual shipping. (The extra cost in your case is USD 45.)

I have waited for my backed lampo for around 4 years. I have decided to get the "individual shipping" and surprinsingly, it arrived around 3 weeks later. Really nice package and very nice looking lamp.

The Lampster tries hard to remove all negative reviews, but that is hardly possible, given the amount of bad reviews and the compagnys way of treating customers. You buy stuff from them and 5 years later, they still have excuses as to why they have your money - but you never got the product. Than you will get mails saying "We are so sorry, but if you pay more, we MEIGHT ship the stuff you bought". The Lampster is a non-trustworthy compagny. Stay away from them.

I've received my Lampster today! It works perfectly, and even if the wait was long, it totally worth it. The package is heavy mostly because of the head which is full metal and gorgeous. After 5 years of waiting (keep in mind that on kickstarter you are not "buying" a product on amazon, you are investor in a project which distribute perks when possible), my only regrets are: 1. Nowadays I'd prefer to put a Philips Hue inside the head instead of the designed Lampster electronic. 2. I'd like to have some sort of API/SDK or technical documentation because the Lampster App doesn't fulfils my needs. Other than that, thanks to Rady and Andrew for their idea and for bringing it to life.

The lamp is amazing and it sits now proudly in my living room. The app could be better, but gets the job done. Must admit that indeed it's a conversation starter.
