PROBLEMS SOLVED!
UPDATE: After posting the review below, a manager, Fred, reached out to me, expressing regret at the way I was treated by Shawn and indicated that he'd like to try to resolve the issue. I was open to that. Fred was clear in communication, and he felt he knew what the problem was with the fit. Meanwhile, I was refunded the $300 for a second jacket to be made later, mentioned in the initial review, without any problem. Within about six weeks, I received a replacement jacket that I am pleased with. All the details we went over were perfect, and the fit is much better. Fred told me to contact him directly in the future, when I want to order more pieces. My correct measurements are on file now, so I will be doing that early in February to receive in March/April. Companies make mistakes. It's how they correct them that counts! Thanks, Fred, for getting this resolved for me! I'll be in touch as discussed. ----------------------------------------------------------- READ THIS BEFORE YOU DEAL WITH THE JACKET MAKER! 1. I told "Shawn" that a large off the rack fits my chest and shoulders but it is too tight in the torso. Conversely, an XL is a little big for the torso but way too big in the chest and shoulders. "can you make a jacket to fit me" is what I asked. He said yes. 2. I sent $220 for the Ionic jacket in tan (Cognac). from there it was A NIGHTMARE! 3. Shawn TAKES TWO TO FIVE DAYS to respond to emails. He does not fully read emails. You ask three questions, you get one answered, MAYBE! that is how THEY PUT IN THE WRONG LINING! I said PLAIN VISCOSE, they put in some QUILTED LINING WITH FOAM INSULATION! Too Hot! And the jacket fit like an XXL! WAY TOO BIG! 4. before discovering the jacket was screwed up, I sent $300 for a Black Matte jacket to be made, but immediately emailed Shawn to HOLD OFF on the Black jacket cause they screwed up the Cognac one! So the Black one was on hold, ok? 5. The April 5 delivery date was badly missed due to Shawn's MULTITUDE of delays. They tried to blame it on COVID, but that was B.S. Too many delays BEFORE COVID caused the date to be blown by two months! 6. AFTER MUCH BACK AND FORTH, they agreed to remake the cognac jacket, but THEY REFUSED TO LISTEN TO ME ON HOW MUCH IT NEEDED TO BE REDUCED AND WHERE. So, it came to me in a month STILL too big. 7. I gave up on them, told them I'D EAT THE $220, JUST REFUND MY $300 FOR THE BLACK JACKET ON HOLD. Instead, THEY WANTED ME TO TAKE PICS OF THE REMADE JACKET, LIKE THEY WANTED TO MAKE IT AGAIN. I TOOK TIME TO SEND THEM PICS WITH THE JACKET ZIPPED AND UNZIPPED SO THEY COULD SEE THAT EITHER WAY, THIS JACKET IS TOO BIG. I TOLD THEM THAT IN THE EMAIL! THERE'S EXTRA MATERIAL FOLDED UNDER MY ARM PITS, FOR CHRIST SAKE! 8. I sent the pics as requested. After 3 DAYS, Shawn writes back, DOES NOT MENTION MY REQUEST FOR A $300 REFUND ON THE BLACK JACKET I DO NOT WANT THEM TO MAKE. ALL HE WROTE WAS, "The jacket will gather when it's unzipped." That was it. WASTED MY TIME AGAIN!!! I see that The Jacket FAKERS think they can tell you whether a jacket fits you or not. UNACCEPTABLE! 9. I have contacted my attorney who will contact The Jacket Fakers to get me back my $300 that they seem to be refusing to give me. Stay away from these people. they have no skills in either tailoring or communication. They have completely wasted my time and have cost me money. Don't let them do the same to you!
