Ordered using apple pay, never got a order confirmation - got worried so sent several emails to their contact email address as listed on their website, none of which got an answer. They did start sending me ads so clearly they got the right contact information. I couldn't get them to engage so ended up having to recharge the CC. Recommend avoiding, think they're bankrupt or something and haven't shut down the website yet. Update following remark below: It's not true - no emails, not in spam either. Which would be weird given that the only email I did get from them is an ad, which did end up in my mailbox. Also, given that I initiated the email, the spam filter wouldn't flag your response as spam. new update: More lies - the phone number is fine as I use apple pay all the time. This company is a scam, avoid at all costs. If they read this - pay me back the money and I will update here in the event that they do. New update: Was ultimately refunded.

For those who are considering ordering a custom-designed jacket from the Jacket Maker, proceed with caution. My order (order 52375) took 9 months to complete and was riddled with frustrations. ORDERING PROCESS: The ordering process was simple. I provided the Jacket Maker with a detailed PDF document of my design. Being a garment-maker myself, the document specified all the required measurements, construction details and materials. The Jacket Maker responded by saying that order would be no problem to make and would take 8-12 weeks. PRODUCTION PROCESS: Despite this, the production team made numerous errors throughout the production process (incorrect dimensions, missing details and materials, poor quality button holes). All of these things were eventually corrected but could have been avoided if the production team payed closer attention to the document that I provided at the beginning of the process. COMMUNICATION: The communication was very slow. I had to follow up my emails repeatedly to get a response (to put that into context - the email thread was 81 emails long!). (A side note - I posted this feedback twice on The Jacket Maker Facebook page and the administrators deleted it both times without a reason or response. It was very disappointing to see the Jacket Maker preventing people from sharing critical yet honest feedback). PRODUCT QUALITY: After all of that ordeal, I was actually quite happy with the jacket, though the leather quality isn't amazing. Before ordering the jacket, I ordered a few swatches of the leathers that the Jacket Makers offers, and settled on a brown pull-up leather. When the jacket arrived, the leather was quite dehydrated in many places, with hairline cracks in the waistband and deep-set creasing in the body and arms (a hallmark of lower quality pull-up leather).
