Thanks to Ifish I had a very good experience with ordering my beautiful African cichlids. Everything was well planned and orchestrated and tailored fit for my fish. The process was fast efficient and healthy if you’re going to order fish online this is the way to do it thank you again I Fish I will order more fish from this company again no doubt

Amazing experience and all the cichlids I ordered are in great health. Now that they are settled in their colors are stunning. The only issue I have is with the shipping. 3 of the 12 bags barley had any air in them and I was surprised 1 of the three even made it during shipping. 1 of the other 9 had very very little water in his bag. This is the only reason for the 4/5 stars. I definitely will recommend the ifishstore to others.

I ordered an electric blue acara, shipping was almost 8 time the cost of the fish but I really wanted that bright blue in my tank. So it's been a few weeks now and the fish is like a pearly white. Although the fin is getting the orange tip. So is the blue something that will come with time? I am a bit disappointed.

Hi Bambi; We’re sorry you’re disappointed with your cichlid. You had ordered a juvenile Electric Blue Acara and juveniles will appear much duller until they reach adult size. We are quite sure that with proper tank parameters and feeding, you’ll begin to see the trademark colors as your cichlid reaches 4 - 5 inches. We ask that you just give it some time.

Another excellent experience! This store has a great selection of our favorite - African cichlids. The site is easy to navigate and place orders. We wanted to avoid receiving our fish while we were away. They accommodated without issue. The fish were delivered as requested in their customary well-sealed, temp controlled packaging. All fish alive and well. Transferred to our tank following their enclosed instructions to a “tee.” Fish are thriving.

Customer
The fish are nice but are not exactly what I asked for. For example, they sent me one Red Melon instead of two. One pigeon blood instead of two. The super reds turned out to be just regular Marlboros. At the beginning I thought they will darken later but a month after the purchase, things don't seem to change ... Nice communication, fish arrived within a reasonable time in good condition.

Hello Zakaria; We’re sorry you were disappointed in the order you received from us. We wanted to review all of our communications with you to see where a mistake may have been made in filling the order. However, when we looked at the note you added to your order (Assorted 2” Discus 10-pack, Our Pick), you simply requested that we choose an assortment of red varieties. You didn’t ask for specific types of red Discus. When filling your order, we included 3 - 4 red varieties that we had available at the time. With respect to the coloring, since you ordered juveniles it’s very common for them to appear a bit duller and often difficult to tell varieties apart. We are confident that with the proper tank parameters and feeding, you will see their distinctive colors and markings. Again, we’re sorry that you were disappointed and hope you will soon see the assortment of reds as they mature.
