I was in an auto accident and was not at fault. The claims adjuster was extremely slow. He didn't get my car to a shop for over 3 weeks. That ate up most of my car rental. The adjuster also missed 70% of the damage to the car. He was slow at approving damage repair with the shop. I was without a car for over 10 weeks because of this adjuster. The claims department didn't send all of the claims to the at Fault insurance company. I am out $1200 in car rental fees that is the at fault company's responsibility.Horrible customer service with claims agent and their supervisor. I submitted complaints to AARP (I got the insurance through that program) and the Colorado Insurance Board. I have changed insurance companies.

Premium goes up every 8 months inspite of truelane notice that I am due a 37% discount. Since I have paid for 6 months, I will keep it but will not renew.

Wow! stay away from this unprofessional company. I was on the phone with an agent, and he started looking at our website and just begins to say we play games, and your company is untruthful. Mind you this is an agent who we have never spoken to before, it was a first call app and he had the nerve to just talk smack to a potential client!? If there was a 0 star option i would select it.

There was zero question of fault. I had there insured in voice recording saying she did a U turn right in front of me. It took 2 1/2 months to get my car repaired. Hartford tried to give me a $674. check for a &2,700.00 repair. Their adjuster will NOT call you or respond. Her boss (likely bed buddy) will not respond. This company is a joke! If they are your insurance company run! If you have an accident with one of their insured’s leave the scene in an ambulance and get an attorney out of the gate. It’s the only way to get help from these people. I even tried to be nice enough to tell them that in approximately 21 days from the date of the accident I would be taking a 10 day vacation and if they could make settlement before then I would be glad to leave my car for repairs at my shop then and save them the rental car fee. But no, they demanded that I use the shop they chose which ended up being $250 more than my shop and they spent money on a rental car for 10 days! lol. I have repeatedly questioned them as to where I send medical and other bills related to the claim and I can’t even get that answer. As I said, save yourself time and frustration and hire an attorney or go directly to your insurance company and let them fight with Hartford because Hartford is worthless.

I had a Hartford insurance for my home, and they are the worse insurance company to have insurance with them. I am writing this review because someone else won’t have to go through that I am going through. I am a senior and call them several times to cancel the insurance. Hartford requires full year payment to insure and when you cancel the policy, Hartford don’t like to refund the money. They find all kind of excuse and asking unreasonable number of documents. I sent them all the documents via mail and fax including new owner’s name and their closing agency company’s name & phone number. Still, they won’t refund the money.

I want to put 0 stars. #1...They are not there 24/7. They are there regular business hours. #2. Their agent hung up on me when I said I record all my calls. #3. You cannot do anything online if you have security or VPN on your device. They expect you to put all your personal numbers of banks etc. online with no privacy. #4. They haven't adjusted their phones to say they are closed. You could wait days online until they get there. It keeps saying "Someone will be with you shortly". That will not happen. I'm cancelling.

I purchased a car insurance policy from Hartford a couple of years ago. My first impression was this company far more better than other crooks in the market but my reviews changed opposite. After being a customer over 2 years without any accidents, violations or other, my liability insurance went up to over 3,100. Shortly, Hartford Insurance turned against me, became part of low class losers team. Hartford Insurance has no class in my eyes, I hope they go out of Business like all the other POS companies. I understand they all deal with Lexis Nexis, depend on their CLUE reports. If they want to stay in business, better Not to deal with Lexis Nexis POS company. They are criminal and need to go... I'm very Un-Happy with Hartford, looking for another company to get my policy from. This is an organized crime against humanity for money, MUST ! MUST ! MUST ! End...

the Hartford raised my rates $1,200 and will not give me a breakdown of the reason weather for accident< age. state increase where i live, age of cars no information.
