Happy HowlWhere it started:Rocky changedeverything andI never set out to start a dog food company. My husky Rocky had the worst stomach on the planet. Years of vet visits, prescription diets, and hundreds spent on premium food brands. We tried everything. Nothing worked. So I decided to build it myself. 36 recipe iterations. Countless hours with vets and nutritionists. All chasing one question: what’s the best food we could possibly make for a dog? When we finally got it right, Rocky was the proof. He hasn't been sick in over 18 months. He runs three miles with me every morning. That's the standard every Happy Howl bowl is held to. Nothing less.Colin Buckley– Founder

The fact that Happy Howl is shelf stable is important for storage. The 3 flavor options helps with variety and my dogs appetite. Great product!

Good scheduling and average customer service. It seems that I am chatting with a automated customer service person and not a live human being.

My dog is a very picky eater, even though she’s a puppy. I wanted to be able to feed her food that was nutritious and something she enjoyed so it wasn’t a constant argument to get her to eat. She loves this food and comes running. Such a great change. Also, she has no digestion issues from this food (burps, stool issues, etc.). Thank you for your product!

Winning over a picky puppy is no small victory—mealtime should be exciting, not an argument! Knowing that she comes running for her bowl and is thriving with great digestion (no burps or tummy troubles!) brings the biggest smile to our faces. Thank you so much for trusting Happy Howl during such an important stage of her growth—give your sweet pup an extra big belly rub from us!

My dog loves the beef and turkey, but not the lamb.
Response from Happy HowlSep 27, 2026
We love that your pup is obsessed with the Beef & Turkey! Every dog has their own unique taste buds, so skipping the Lamb is no problem at all. We’ve already taken care of this for you and updated your subscription to our Beef & Turkey 6-pack! Your next shipment will process on October 17th with only the flavors your dog adores. Thanks for being such an awesome part of the family!

My dog (not a picky eater) seemed to get a little bored with her previous ( freeze-dried with healthy ingredients) dog food after about a year. I decided to try Happy Howl for a change. After several months, she is still loving all 3 flavors and licking her bowl clean every day.
Response from Happy HowlSep 27, 2026
Mealtime fatigue is real, but a clean bowl every single day for months straight is a huge victory! We are over the moon to hear that all three of our recipes are keeping her just as excited today as the day she started. Thank you for making Happy Howl her new go-to meal, and give your sweet girl an extra big scratch behind the ears from us!
