This absolutely made us smile! 🐾😂 We're so happy to hear that Rimshot dove right into his first bowl of Happy Howl—especially after being so selective with other foods! Sounds like we've officially earned the Rimshot seal of approval. 💛🐶 Thank you for sharing his story with us, and here's to many more happy, easy mealtimes! 🎉 Warm Wags from the Happy Howl Team!

Picky pups can definitely keep us on our toes. 🐾💛 Since there isn’t an issue with Happy Howl and he’s simply a very selective eater, a slow transition can sometimes make all the difference. A few things to try: Start small & mix in: Mix a little Happy Howl with his current food and gradually increase the amount. Warm it up: Warm the food in a microwave-safe bowl for about 10 seconds (never in the carton) to bring out the aroma. Add a topper: A little warm water, low-sodium bone broth, or plain boiled chicken can make it more enticing. Keep a routine: Offer the food for 15–20 minutes, then pick it up if he doesn’t eat. Try hand feeding: A few bites by hand can help make mealtime more positive. For the transition, try 25% Happy Howl / 75% current food for Days 1–3, then 50/50 for Days 4–6, 75/25 for Days 7–10, and 100% Happy Howl from Day 11 onward. Hopefully these tricks help win over your little food critic! 🐶💛 The Happy Howl Team 🐾

Thank you for sharing this! We love hearing that Happy Howl works well mixed into your pup’s freeze-dried food. Adding that extra moisture is such a great way to help create a more balanced, tasty meal. We really appreciate you giving Happy Howl a try! 🐾

Thank you for giving Happy Howl a try and for sharing your honest feedback. Our meals are made with real ingredients like meat, broth, vegetables, rice or potatoes, and a blend of vitamins and minerals, rather than being made with fillers or artificial ingredients. The texture is intentionally soft and stew-like, but it should have the appearance and aroma of a fresh, homemade-style stew. When you mention the smell, was it more that the aroma reminded you of canned food, or did it seem unusually strong or foul? We’d definitely want to know if something seemed off with the particular carton you opened. We also appreciate you sharing that your pup did eat it, even if it took him a little longer than usual. 🐾 Warm Wags, Rachel The Happy Howl Team
