Happy HowlWhere it started:Rocky changedeverything andI never set out to start a dog food company. My husky Rocky had the worst stomach on the planet. Years of vet visits, prescription diets, and hundreds spent on premium food brands. We tried everything. Nothing worked. So I decided to build it myself. 36 recipe iterations. Countless hours with vets and nutritionists. All chasing one question: what’s the best food we could possibly make for a dog? When we finally got it right, Rocky was the proof. He hasn't been sick in over 18 months. He runs three miles with me every morning. That's the standard every Happy Howl bowl is held to. Nothing less.Colin Buckley– Founder

Delivered on time. To much rice in Thanksgiving food (for my dogs) they love the the grandma beef stew..
Response from Happy HowlOct 26, 2025
Thanks for the feedback! We’re glad your dogs love the Grandma Beef Stew. We wanted to clarify that the rice in our recipe makes up only about 8% of the total ingredients. It’s included in a small amount to support digestion and provide a balanced source of energy. The rice and protein have a blended appearance. We blend our meals to ensure every bite delivers consistent nutrition and flavor for your pup. Your dog is still getting all the great nutrients they need, just in a naturally blended, protein-rich form. Thanks again for caring so much about what goes into your dog’s bowl, we do too! 💚

Your food is good, my dog really likes it, licks the bowl clean. I would've given a higher rating but I don't like being penalized for not giving you access to my bank account or to my credit card. Just because every other company does a subscription price dosen't mean you have to. Try doing something different. Make a good product that you believe in, and sell it at a fair price and let people buy it when they need or want to.

It’s wonderful to know your dog is happily licking the bowl clean, that’s always our favorite review! We also completely understand your concerns about subscriptions and automatic billing. Many pet parents feel the same way, you want flexibility and control without being locked into a recurring payment. The great news is that Happy Howl DOES offer two options for checkout. You can check out with a one-time purchase OR subscribe and save. If you have questions on these two options don't hesitate to reach out to our support team at [email protected]

This çómpany tricks people by enticing them to subscribe by giving a 50% disçount then if you don't jump on them immédiately when your dog detests their food and you have to starve them to it this company doesn't forwarñ ánother shipment is coming. They took $92 from my account before the time and I notified them several times cancelling before this. No reply or confirmation. They beligerantly went on to steal mónéy and force me to accept their next shipment. I calléd UPẞ Refusing to accept their box of dog food. I emailed & tried to find a phone number for happy howl. They hide it from the public! They even kept the shipment in PA and it won't arrive until Oct 30th, they are very slick & deceitful. I want my $9² back now!! Or I go to my bank!

My dog is the pickiest eater and she loves this food. After trying numerous different dog food brands over the last 8 years to switch her off her previous food, she finally found a brand she loves.

I have spent a fortune trying to find a food my Border Collie would eat, I finally as. last resort bought the sample pack of Happy Howel, 3 flavors Beef, Lamb, Turkey. My dog likes them all. Thank you, Thank You.
