I have tried many different
I have tried many different, ‘human grade, fresh dog foods’ , but none of them really left me feeling confident about the quality, visual appearance or confidence that I was choosing the right food for my fur babies. Happy Howl is a bit of an interesting name, but my dogs love it. I feel good about what I’m feeding them. Storage is a nonissue. The food is totally identifiable. These food choices can be very expensive. Happy Howl is competitively priced , but the confidence I feel is priceless.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience! We’re thrilled to hear that your dogs love Happy Howl and that the quality, appearance, and ingredients give you confidence in what you’re feeding them. Knowing that we can make mealtime both healthy and enjoyable for your fur babies is exactly why we do what we do! We’re also glad the storage and pricing make life a little easier, your pups deserve the best, and we love helping you give it to them.

My boy absolutely LOVES your food
My boy absolutely LOVES your food. I love that you can actually see things in it that you recognize, like carrots or peas. He was getting a little fat so the guide on your box needs a little tweaking. He gets four meals from each box and he is getting back to his glory weight ! I love the fact I don’t have to refrigerate. The only “irritation” for me is the boxes, they are kinda clumsy. I know you enclosed to long spoon to get in there but it’s always kind messy. I don’t know what you could do to improve this, but hey it’s no big deal because he LOVES it and I LOVE it, I only LIKE the box, he LOVES the food, what do you think is the most important conclusion?? LOL Thank you Hungry Howl

Thank you so much for sharing your experience! We’re thrilled to hear your boy loves Happy Howl and that the real ingredients like carrots and peas are a hit. It’s wonderful to know he’s getting back to a healthy weight and that you enjoy the convenience of the shelf-stable boxes. We totally understand the boxes can be a little messy at times, thank you for being patient with that! Your feedback is valuable and helps us think about ways to make mealtime even easier. Most importantly, we’re so glad your pup is happy and thriving.

The food is very good
The food is very good, my dog loves it. I would have given more stars, except that 4 boxes of the Lamb Happy Howl food was so watery, when I opened the box it was like gross slush. All the other Lamb boxes, as well as everything else was fine but I was unable to use those 4 boxes. I went onto their site and Happy Howl does not refund anything if it was discounted, which includes the subscription price.
Response from Happy HowlNov 11, 2025
We’re really sorry to hear that four of your Lamb boxes arrived in poor condition. That definitely isn’t the experience we want for our customers, or their pups! We understand how frustrating it is to not be able to use them. While our current policy doesn’t allow refunds on discounted subscription boxes, we want to make this right. Please reach out to our customer care team directly with your order details so we can see if we can offer a replacement or another solution.
