My furbabies love it
My furbabies love it! We travel quite a bit so being shelf stable works great for our needs. I have 3 small dogs and they share 1 box mixed with a little kibble, the least one of their favorite is the lamb but they will eat it, i feel maybe it's because it is a little more paté. Will continue buying.

We’re thrilled your three pups love Happy Howl and that the shelf-stable convenience works so well for your travels, that’s exactly what we aim for!

Love the no mess
Love the no mess. Easy to store, not like the frozen dog food we used to get. My dog Mo loves it !
Response from Happy HowlApr 6, 2026
We’re so glad you’re enjoying the no-mess, easy storage, it really makes a difference compared to frozen options! And even better that Mo loves his meals.

My dog goes crazy waiting for her Happy Howl meal
My dog goes crazy waiting for me to give her her Happy Howl meal. She knows when I'm a few minutes late. She loves her Happy Howl. Happy Howl is also very reliable with their shipments and so easy to make changes to my order.
Response from Happy HowlApr 6, 2026
We love that your dog knows exactly when it’s mealtime and gets excited if you’re even a few minutes late, that’s true Happy Howl enthusiasm!

The food is good
The food is good, I have a very picky chihuahua! It’s a hit or miss with him!
Response from Happy HowlApr 13, 2026
We’re really glad Happy Howl is a hit (even if it’s a bit “hit or miss” sometimes with a picky eater). That’s actually pretty normal with small dogs, so trying different recipes or mixing it in a bit can sometimes help keep him interested consistently.

Great product with safe ingredients
Great product with safe ingredients. My girls love it as a meal or just a topper to their raw diet. I always keep it on hand.
Response from Happy HowlApr 13, 2026
We’re really glad your girls are enjoying Happy Howl both as a full meal and as a topper to their raw diet. That kind of flexibility is exactly what we designed it for easy to mix in and always good to have on hand.

Lackluster Customer Service
Dog changed to Rx renal food & I forgot to cancel subscription. Item delivery label created but item not yet shipped. Wouldn’t cancel shipment or allow for a return of shelf stable food that wouldn’t have been opened. $168 dollars wasted, but as they suggested I’ll donate the food. Piss poor customer service.
Response from Happy HowlApr 13, 2026
In situations like this, especially with a medical diet change, it can feel really frustrating to miss a cancellation window and still be charged for a shipment that’s no longer usable for your dog. From a policy standpoint, once a subscription order moves past the cancellation window and a label is created, it’s typically no longer eligible for cancellation or return, so that part aligns with what support communicated.
