Welcome to the fresh food side of things! Making the switch from freeze-dried can take a tiny bit of getting used to, but we are absolutely thrilled that your pup is loving her new meals. We work hard to ensure our fresh nutrition is both highly economical and easy to manage online, so your feedback means the world to us. Thank you for the wonderful shoutout!

Happy dog + convenience
I was using a frozen human grade brand dog food. I travel with my dog and the logistics were a nightmare for frozen food. I switched to Happy Howl and have not gone back. The product quality is comparable, better price, easier storage, my dog loves it. Delivered like clockwork without ice packs and worries of spoilage. It's a win!

We love being your ultimate travel partner! Ditching the logistics nightmare of frozen food and ice packs is exactly why we made our recipes shelf-stable. Knowing we can match that premium quality at a better price—while making your storage and road trips completely stress-free—is a massive win for us. Thank you so much for making Happy Howl a permanent part of your packing list, and welcome to the pack!

This is the perfect way to present…
This is the perfect way to present fresh food to your dog. No freezing or thawing-it goes right in the cupboard. No mess. I thought this was my perfect solution but my staffie is super picky and would not eat it. I’ve tried every fresh brand and she didn’t eat those either.
Response from Happy HowlJul 19, 2026
We are thrilled that our cupboard-safe, mess-free packaging brought a perfect solution to your pantry, but we are so sorry to hear that your picky Staffie didn't agree! Earning the approval of a pup who has rejected every fresh brand is definitely a tough challenge. To see if you can tempt her, we highly recommend slightly warming the food before serving to activate the rich, savory smells of the natural bone broth, or using a tiny amount thoroughly hidden and mixed into her favorite current food. Because our boxes are completely shelf-stable, you can take your time experimenting without any freezer pressure. Thank you so much for letting us give it a shot!

We have tried two other fresh food…
We have tried two other fresh food companies before Happy Howl and HH is the one my dog looks forward to the most! One of the best parts is that the food is shelf stable until opened.
Response from Happy HowlJul 19, 2026
Being chosen as the favorite over two other fresh food companies is the absolute ultimate compliment! There is truly nothing better than seeing a pup genuinely look forward to mealtime, and we are so honored to have won over your dog's heart (and tummy!). We are also thrilled that you are loving the shelf stability. We designed our packaging specifically to eliminate the hassle of crowded freezers and messy defrosting, so knowing it brings that perfect balance of health and convenience to your routine means the world to us. Thank you so much for choosing us to feed your pup and for sharing the love with our pack!
