Pros and cons
Shipping was fast, account easy to access, food is convenient to store and use. But cancelled my account because my dogs would not eat any of the 3 recipes

Selective pups definitely keep us on our toes, but simple tricks like mixing a tiny amount into their favorite food or offering a few bites by hand can often help bridge the gap for picky tastebuds!

I’ll keep trying
I received my trial pack order in a timely manner. My little dog is extremely picky and older (15+) and very set in her ways. I tried the beef stew thinking that would be her favorite but she wouldn’t even try it. I put some out everyday but she would sniff it and walk away. I left it all day thinking she would eat if she got hungry enough but nope! I’m going to try the next flavor to see what happens but she will probably do the same thing. The ingredients are great. The smell is great. If I had beef stew on my plate and was eating it she would want some. I think she is just spoiled and set in her ways. I’m not giving up though. I’m opening another flavor today.

One tip you can try is gently warming the food for about 10 seconds in a microwave-safe bowl (not in original packaging). Warming it up can help bring out the aroma, which is often enough to spark a picky pup's interest. We'll also send you an email with a few more tips that have helped picky eaters. I just received the trial pack and woo whoo!!
I just received the trial pack and gave Sunshine part of the pack mixed in with the Blue she will rarely eat and she just gobbled it right up and wanted more!! She is the world's biggest picky eater and this is delightful. I am going to try the other two trial flavors and see which she likes better and get on a shipping schedule. Yippee!! Something she actually likes and trust me I have tried them all.

Unfortunately my dog is a picky eater and does not like the food. I wish she did.

Thank you for giving Happy Howl a shot and writing us a review! Picky pups definitely keep us on our toes, but adding a splash of warm bone broth or hand-feeding those first couple of bites can be a total game-changer. Sticking to a gradual transition schedule builds great mealtime excitement and lets her get comfortable with fresh ingredients at her own pace.

Happy Howl makes healthy dog food.
Happy Howl makes healthy dog foods. All my dogs appear to like it because their bowls are always licked clean! I also like that it comes in a box, which is certainly more environmentally friendly! They do this through "..aseptic packaging, gentle steam and pressure cooking, and pressure stabilization, which is why it can be kept in a box..", also a plus for me!

My dog has been eating Farmers Dog for…
My dog has been eating Farmers Dog for two years. We had to force him to eat it. We were standing over him and constantly coaxing him to eat. We finally decided to try Happy Howl. It was like an attack on his food bowl! He absolutely devoured it! No coaxing at all! Thank you!
