Happy HowlWhere it started:Rocky changedeverything andI never set out to start a dog food company. My husky Rocky had the worst stomach on the planet. Years of vet visits, prescription diets, and hundreds spent on premium food brands. We tried everything. Nothing worked. So I decided to build it myself. 36 recipe iterations. Countless hours with vets and nutritionists. All chasing one question: what’s the best food we could possibly make for a dog? When we finally got it right, Rocky was the proof. He hasn't been sick in over 18 months. He runs three miles with me every morning. That's the standard every Happy Howl bowl is held to. Nothing less.Colin Buckley– Founder

The order came quickly and with a great discount. I mix it with a little kibble and air dried food and Murphy loves it!

My dogs won’t eat it so I’m gonna have to give it to someone else because my dogs will not eat none of it. I’ve opened three boxes and I’ve thrown three boxes away so for me it was a waste of money. My dogs didn’t care for it. I got the beef stew, the lamb and a turkey.

Thank you for your review! We are sorry to hear that your dogs were not fans of the Beef, Lamb, and Turkey recipes. When transitioning dogs to a new fresh food, picky eaters often do best with a slow transition! We recommend starting by mixing a tiny portion of Happy Howl into their familiar food, or warming it up slightly to enhance the natural flavors and smell. We appreciate your feedback and hope your pups find a routine that works for them!

Rosie loves the three flavors of lamb, turkey and beef and it’s a great topper for her Orijen kibble food

I would highly recommend Happy Howl for your dog. It is a great way to give your pups the best in nutrition and it looks and smells like food you would eat! They are always on time with your delivery and you just stack it on your shelf! No refrigerator or freezer, unless you don’t use the whole carton. They even give you bags that fit the carton into and you just seal and pop into your refrigerator. So easy! And your pups will love the food!!

Wow, thank you so much for such an amazing review and recommendation! Hearing how much you and your pups love Happy Howl truly makes our day! We put so much thought into designing our human-grade meals to be as convenient as possible—from shelf-stable storage to our custom re-sealable fridge bags for leftover portions. We are so grateful to have you as part of the Happy Howl pack and thrilled that delivery and mealtime are a breeze for you!

Wasn't sure what to think of shelf stable food as I have always made homemade or ordered frozen dog foods from several different companies when I didn't have time to cook for my furbaby. So far, I am impressed and Freckles loves it! He licks the plate clean, starts to walk away, but makes a U-turn and comes right back for a few more licks just to make sure he didn't leave a morsel behind. It seriously smells just like human food! You can see the little pieces of veggies, potatoes and blueberries... I really like the packaging! So easy to open and it closes and seals shut even easier. No lid, foil or saran wrap needed to cover the top and no messy fingers from having to scrape leftovers into another container before storing in the fridge. The package you open is also the storage container for any leftovers and it closes and seals with barely a touch of the finger. And there is NO plastic! Kudos to this company for coming up with this really neat design and a perfect way to make shelf stable food without preservatives. I give this company an A+

💛 We completely understand the question—that's a great one, especially if you're used to homemade diets. Happy Howl is gently cooked and shelf stable thanks to our retort packaging process, which sterilizes the food and seals it airtight, so there's no need for artificial preservatives. If you'd ever like more details about how it works, we'd be happy to share more! We're so glad you've been impressed so far. 🐾.I'll send you an email with more details so you can see the full process.😊

My Keyah is a VERY particular eater. She has the most fussy pallet, but for the first time ever she eats everything I put in her bowl. I swear, she was asking for more at lunch. I gave her the beef to start. I bought the sample box so we'll see what her opinion is of the chicken and turkey next. Fingers crossed 🤞

Thank you so much for sharing this! 🥹 We're thrilled to hear even picky Keyah is cleaning her bowl—that's one of the best compliments we could ask for. We hope she loves exploring the rest of the recipes just as much. Keep us posted on her favorites! ❤️🐾
