One of my dogs used to eat sticks constantly when I would take him for a walk. It was so frustrating, and walks were so unpleasant. Since he started on your food, he rarely tries to grab a stick. I was beside myself wondering how to get him to stop doing this. Little did I know the change in diet would do the trick. Both of my dogs used to only eat dry food. Once in a while, one of them would refuse breakfast. No longer now that she’s on The Farmer’s Dog food. Both dogs go NUTS over the food and spend a long time licking their dishes once they’ve finished. They are both so much happier now.

My 9 year old Cavalier Spaniel had always been picky about his food. The first time I gave him the fresh Farmer's Dog blend, he "wolfed" it down immediately and looked up at me with a bright, happy look that made me feel good too. It has made a huge difference in his mood and energy, almost like a puppy again.

We love The Farmers Dog! Our pups (15 yr old and 5 yr old) love the food! Our 5 year old was a picky eater, but now is not...and our 'old girl' can't wait to eat her food every meal! She practically runs to her bowl after I fix her food (she actually hops because of the arthritis in her hips) but it's a mad dash for her. The customer support and service from the company are definitely the BEST!

My 13-year-old boxer-pittie had a stroke or inner ear episode and was in terrible shape (blind and deaf for a day, lost his balance, vomiting, vertigo, incontinent, etc.) and I had booked euthanasia at home for the following week. (He has also lost nerve connection to his hind legs and has arthritis.) Meanwhile, Merlyn refused to eat his usual kibble even if I dressed it up with egg or wet canned food. Wouldn't touch it. I cooked food for him myself, spoiling him in his last week on earth, crying the whole time. That was over a month ago! What happened? Merlyn started recovering. I cancelled euthanasia, duh. A friend suggested Farmers Dog to me, I ordered the trial, and Merlyn LOVED it right off the bat. He perked up. His eyes got lively and clear again. The incontinence improved. He started frolicking when I took him outside, and being playful with me indoors in a way I haven't seen him be in months. I swear, it's the food! (okay, and the love). If I ever get another dog, I will never buy another bag of dry kibble again.

Our Boxer mix, Biscuit, is 14 and was very close to being put to sleep just before I heard about The Farmer’s Dog. There was no kind of food he would eat, including any kind of cooked meat. He was literally starving. He was losing weight, was becoming progressively weaker and would turn his head away each time I offered him food. His favorites were no longer his favorites. Biscuit has regular vet exams, lab work and has his teeth cleaned yearly. He also takes a prescribed anti inflammatory for arthritis. Medically, there was nothing more we could do for him. He spent most of his time on our bed, looking sad. He even stopped wagging his tail. Four weeks ago I ordered meals for him from The Farmer’s Dog. They were formulated for his size, breed and age. I warmed his first meal and held my breath as I offered it to him. He ate every bit of it. He LOVES his food and comes out to the kitchen now to let me know he’s hungry. And he’s wagging his tail again! Instead of spending all his time on my bed, he now comes out several times a day to socialize and just this week the sparkle returned to his eyes! I know that my sweet rescue boy is nearing the end of a long and happy life, but I couldn’t bear for him to starve. Because of Farmer’s Dog, my happy boy is back! He has gained weight and I hope he will spend the rest of his days well nourished. You saved his life!

Love Farmer's Dog! Gypsy NEVER had a problem eating her food (quite the contrary...) but, despite being active, she had gained weight, given the nature of what we were feeding her. She adores FD, and, as of today's weigh- in at the vet, has met her weight loss goals! I also love FD's customer support -- so responsive and helpful -- plus -- and this may sound incidental to some -- their marketing is delightful! The copy, the artwork, the packaging and customer communications -- all clever, fun, and beautifully executed. Bravo!

My dog didn’t care for the food. But ANY company with an ongoing subscription service - that allows you to opt-out with the click of a button - is HIGHLY reputable and worthy of praise in my book. It shows integrity; it shows confidence. Your dog may love it; mine is unusually picky. But I only have good things to say about the company.
