My dog Boston is 12 years old, and I wanted to get every additional day possible with him so I started him on Farmer’s Dog food about 2 weeks ago. He is a bit of a picky eater, but he loves this food and goes back to his bowl several times to lick it clean. He literally salivates while I’m getting his meal ready (which is super easy and fast). My husband and I think we are already seeing changes in his behavior in that he seems to have more energy. We have been going on longer walks….a few up to 3 miles, and he recovers faster. His arthritis (in his hips and hind legs) seems better visually because he is not limping as much. His poops are more solid and easier to clean-up. I just personally feel so much better about giving him real food with vitamins, but without additives and preservatives and ingredients you cannot pronounce or identify. I also like the pre-measured amounts of food based on my dog’s weight. Now I’m just hoping Farmer’s Dog adds healthy treats to its product line so I know everything I give Boston is good for him and within his daily caloric requirements.

We started using Farmer's Dog shortly after one of our dogs was diagnosed with kidney disease. While the vet initially recommended a kidney-specific diet, our dog's appetite was so suppressed that she wouldn't eat it after a little while. She dropped from 60lbs to 40lbs in a matter of months, so the vet suggested we switch her to human-grade food. That's when I found Farmer's Dog. She's been eating Farmer's Dog for a few months now, and the difference in her is visible. She's putting weight back on, and she has energy like she hasn't had in years (even before her diagnosis). We now have both our dogs on Farmer's Dog, and they LOVE it. They basically dance/prance around when they're about to be fed (and they have both been pretty picky eaters throughout their lives). They lick the bowls CLEAN with this food. And the few times I've reached out to Farmer's Dog customer service, the experience has been phenomenal. They are fast, friendly and helpful. Thank you Farmer's Dog! We'll never feed these dogs or future dogs anything else. It's worth every penny.

We’ve tried so many brands of kibble, and our one-year-old Shih Tzu Kyoshi never liked any of them. Her vet recommended TFD, and she absolutely loves her nutritious fresh food! All her digestive problems are gone. It’s been 3 months since we’ve switched, and I really love the convenience. Shipping has been timely even throughout snowstorms. Kyoshi’s healthy and happy, and so are we! Thanks TFD team!

Ordered product over 10 days ago and product still has not shipped. I immediately cancelled my account after reading other reviews having problems with shipping. I am sure that there are better dog food companies out there.

I have the pickiest little jack russell terrier in the world. She does not like any dog treats. Does not eat off of my plate unless it is meat! This food is real meat and Maggie loves it. She is excited to eat! No more smelly food...breath...or gas! It's pricier but I agreed to provide her with the best I could. I have a small budget but she's worth it. Customer Service is prompt and very helpful. Maggie is a farmer's dog for life!

My dog didn’t like any dog food we tried until Farmer’s Dog. She is excited for meals and looks for more in her bowl. I can see the difference in what she is getting compared to other off the shelf dog foods. My son-in-law actually thought it looked so good he would eat it.

You will not regret making this decision to invest in your dog’s life!! They are what they eat and The Farmer’s Dog is the best thing for them!! Shinier coat and healthier digestion!!

I've been making Murphy's food for 5 years but always worried that it wasn't nutritionally complete and was getting so tired of heading to the store every 3 - 4 days and then making a pot of food over and over again. I tried a couple of the "fresh" pet foods in store but she wouldn't even come close to touching them. I couldn't blame her. Then my son told me about The Farmer's Dog so I thought I'd give it a go. I was SO happy when I opened the food and saw that it was as fresh as what I had been making for her. She LOVES this food and sometimes I think she may lick a hole in her bowl trying to get every morsel! Getting my time back has been awesome and not worrying about her nutritional profile is such peace of mind. And to top it off - I love how much detail has been given to using recyclable packaging.
