The food and delivery was great! We just have a picky dog that only eats something a couple times and then won’t eat it again for a week or more, so didn’t work for us.

I know this is said often throughout the reviews, but this food truly saved our dog’s life. Our 14-year-old Carin Terrier, Mali, started having constant diarrhea - going to the bathroom 4 to 5 times per night even. The vet only gave us medicine to give her which seem to make the diarrhea worse. I went through several days of grieving because I thought this was the end. In my desperation, I went on full-force dog mom mode and ended up finding The Farmer’s Dog and the founder’s testimonial to how changing to fresh food saved his dog, who also had digestive issues. Hands-down, I accredit this food to saving our Mali. She no longer has diarrhea and she no longer has acid reflux which she has had for years. She plays all the time now just like a puppy. Some mornings I wake up and she has dumped her play bin over and has just been playing with the toys by herself. She’ll have spurts of energy where she runs up and down our foyer rug just out of pure joy and excitement. Our walks have become much longer and she feels like an adventurer now- pulling me to go one more block. Yes her coat is healthier, yes her eyes are brighter, but most of all, she is with us and that is all that matters to me!

All I can say is WOW!!! My girl Sheba, as in queen of, loves this food so much she wants to eat an hour earlier! She was a very picky eater only eating if I cooked fresh chicken to add to her dry. Farmers dog food is the real deal and I am so happy to be feeding this food to my precious angel. She has lost four pounds and is closer to her target weight. THANK YOU farmers dog. It’s way above my budget but I will sacrifice elsewhere, it’s that good.
