I have 3 dogs that are eating Farmers Dog and they have been eating very well. Even my picky Sierra is eating much better.

We love to hear it! Thanks for this review, Joan!

We have been very happy that Pip made the transition to The Farmer’s Dog food with such ease! She is more energetic and the biggest change I notice is that she isn’t shedding and her coat looks great! I never have to coax her to eat her food like I have in the past, she’s there and ready to eat!

Couldn't be more happy to know that Pip is thriving on her recipes! Give her some extra belly rubs for us.

I don’t write reviews unless I have something positive to say, but unfortunately my experience has been the same as so many others regarding poor customer service and missing or late deliveries. The company always seems to have some explanation and I’m sure they’ll come up with something for this review, but it would be a better business practice to stand up, take responsibility, and make things right. My order was supposed to be delivered and then I received an email stating that the delivery company could not gain access to my property and was given no date positive to expect the order (or if it would still be fresh). I live in a large and popular urban area and have never had problems getting deliveries. Odd thing is, when I checked with UPS I found that the shipping label had been created days earlier, but Farmers Dog never tendered the shipment to UPS. I feel that I’ve simply been lied to and have no confidence in this company. Long on excuses, short on service. I think the heart of the problem is the delivery service used by Farmers Dog, AxleHire. Almost half of the AxleHire reviews on this site are negative. AxleHire is a “last mile” delivery service which appears to mean it’s like the Uber of delivery services but not nearly as reliable. In the long run, I fear AxleHire will cost Farmers Dog a lot of business. Hopefully a change in delivery services or methods will prevent that.

Both of my dogs love the food, although one has a very sensitive stomach and I had to hold her order. Service is great! Communication is easy and also great! Kim

My 16 year old Doxie LOVES her Farmers Dog food. Her weight is perfect. Her energy is good. It is so reassuring to see her devour her dinner every night. She was having trouble chewing her other foods. Farmers Dog is perfect for her sensitive teeth. She had an angry salivary gland cancer that I was told would cause her demise in 6 months. We are now 3 years out from that surgery and diagnosis and she’s going strong. I am very grateful to have found a healthy, delicious food for her. I can’t believe how much this food has changed her life.

The best update we could ask for! The difference a fresh food diet can on our furry companions is truly amazing, so we're honored to be feeding Doxie our recipes. We hope you'll continue to keep us posted on how she continues to thrive, and please don't hesitate to reach out if either of you needs anything 🧡

I am very satisfied with FARMERS DOG FOOD but I have one complaint my deliveries are lacking a sufficient amount of dry ice and my last delivery started to defrost, please put more dry ice in order.
Response from The Farmer's DogJun 3, 2022
Oh no! We're so sorry to hear this, thank you for bringing this to our attention. As long as all of your packs are very cool to the touch and at least one is partially frozen, the food is safe to feed to your dog. Rest assured, we're actively working on updating our packaging and we'll be sure to share this with our team. Thank you so much for your support, Stephen!
