Epoch Times is not worth $16 every four weeks. Some of the articles as of late have been poorly written. Will not allow you to comment on their articles unless you're a paid subscriber. This sounds to me like something the CCP would do.
Response from The Epoch TimesSep 20, 2024
Dear Timothy,
Thank you for your feedback. We value our readers’ input tremendously and will pass on your opinion to the Editorial team and management. Would you also be kind enough to provide us with a few examples of those articles you were dissatisfied with? May we ask you to open a support ticket online at https://help.theepochtimes.com/hc/en-us/requests/new (with reference ID: TrustPilot#240908)? We’d love to understand more about your concerns.
We welcome and value feedback on our articles, but one does need to be a paid subscriber to leave comments below the articles. Due to the overwhelming participation on our articles, we sometimes need to limit which articles readers can submit comments on. Technically, it also helps avoid certain problems caused by unverified spam accounts and bots. We hope you can understand that.
We’d love to hear from you, though. If you are up for it, would you please submit a support ticket to us at https://help.theepochtimes.com/hc/en-us/requests/new? This way, one of our customer service representatives will be able to reach out to you and chat with you about any other concerns you might have.
You can also give us a call at 833-699-1888.
Business Hours:
• Monday–Friday: 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. (ET)
• Saturday–Sunday: 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (ET)
Our customer service staff will be happy to hear from you and pass on your messages to our Editorial team.
We hope this helps clear up some of your concerns, and we look forward to hearing from you!
Best regards,
The Epoch Times Customer Service

I wish i'd thought to consult…
I wish i'd thought to consult TrustPilot before subscribing. The content wasn't nearly as unbiased as they claim...and the process to cancel is a nightmare...their on hold message telling me i could cancel thru my account portal..not true...which directed me to chat...which put me thru more marketing...which finally made me go back and log in with a 'special' ...not available anywhere web url...which put me thru more marketing offers...until finally allowing me click cancel. It's wholly deceitful.
Response from The Epoch TimesSep 20, 2024
Dear Rolling Stone Man,
We are very sorry to hear about your experience and sorry to see you go.
The simplest way to cancel your subscription is by visiting your Customer Self-Service Portal and clicking on the “Cancel my subscription” button on the “Manage my subscription” page. This process should allow you to cancel your account online without going through any other customer service channels. We had our staff test it just now, and it works! We take your feedback seriously, so we’d like to investigate further into your situation.
Can you please open a support ticket with us online at https://help.theepochtimes.com/hc/en-us/requests/new (with reference ID: TrustPilot#240904)? This way, one of our customer service representatives will be able to reach out to you and investigate further if there are any other issues with our site or subscription functionalities.
You can also give us a call at 833-699-1888.

Aldrig mer Svenska Epoch Times.

I have been a subscriber since about…
Let me add...you have now replied to my post twice ET. I would have left everything as is except you keep piling it on
Nothing has changed and yet all the same problems exist.
You do edit...I've watched it in live time...I post-it blips and is gone for a few minutes and reappears with changes and spacing that shouldn't be there
I begin to wonder if all your talk of" we can from oppressive China was just a smoke screen that many of us fell for.
I have been a subscriber since about 2017 and have had no real complaints until about the last year. They have been increasingly biased and have now completely abandoned the mission of fair and un-slanted news. Articles about democratic proponents state issues as factual events that have been proven wrong. Currently they are running articles such as about why young people and other demographics are voting for Harris/waltz but give no such articles for the opposition. They do not write anything that is in anyway damaging to her credibility.
They have also started about a year ago to edit posts. I noticed many of my posts started being corrected grammatically and for spelling.(Once I noticed a post being altered I started purposely making typos) And then many of my posts I would have to repost 10 or 12 times before they showed up if at all(no profanity or abusive language just showing error of article and links or directions to go get the real facts) I also started seeing that an article had had dozens of posts listed but you could only view maybe 3 or 5. I thought well maybe it was the new filter for comments...newest, oldest most like....nope you just couldn't view them, and the comments... especially political articles went away completely. Their explanation was that their comment team couldn't keep up with the amount of comments??!! Well, why do you have a team that views comments...why not let the subscribers flag or block...unless you have some other mission.
In short Epoch Times as gone the way of all main stream media...they cannot be trusted and are prone to push the party line.

Unreliable.
I can't believe they've scammed people into paying for their c***!!!!
I was sent an article about POTS -Postural Orthostatic Tachychardia Syndrome, and they can't even get the defintion right.
Doesn't give you much confidence in anything else they publish if they can't even properly fact check or define something they're apparently writing an article on. So unethical to be spreading misinformation like that!
Re your reply- I’m not going to do your job for you 🤯 I’ve already mentioned it’s right at the beginning in the “definition.”
Response from The Epoch TimesJul 31, 2024
Hi Biara, thank you for your feedback. We take these very seriously and like to resolve them as soon as possible.
Regarding the article you mentioned, is it this one?
POTS: Symptoms, Causes, Treatments, and Natural Approaches
Postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome is a condition that causes rapid heart rate and affects between 1 and 3 million Americans—mainly premenopausal women.
Postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS), also called postural autonomic tachycardia, is a condition marked by an unusually rapid rise in heart rate when transitioning from a sitting or lying position to standing. This prevalent blood circulation disorder is estimated to affect between 1 and 3 million Americans. POTS is also a form of dysautonomia, a disorder of the autonomic nervous system.

Could you please explain how it is incorrect? We will discuss with the editors to address it accordingly.
Regarding your edit, our editors also provided these links from official sources regarding the definition:

We hope that you can have a look and reconsider your rating, or please let us know if there's other information you need.
Thank you

I’m not sure how this company got my…
I’m not sure how this company got my email, but they did. I’m neither right nor left, but I have leaned right quite a bit… so maybe they targeted me that way. The problem I have is that this company claims to use scientifically backed research or studies, and they link to studies, but they must not understand how to read research and data, bc what they say, and the resources provided do not support one another. I subscribed right away before researching the outlet but canceled the same day after reading 3/4 articles with major concerns for valid reporting. Too bad this news outlet was too good to be true.
Edited to respond- it was a long while ago when I viewed the articles. One was an article that talked about a shift in medical perceptions - gearing towards “natural” alternatives, however, the linked article did not support what was written. It was poorly done research that hadn’t been replicated, but it might be what right wing people might want to read/hear. It was spreading misinformation and highly biased information. In general, the articles were very biased, as if this news outlet was writing to the right wing only. I thought I was reading an unbiased news outlet that let us decide based on facts. That wasn’t true at all. I also noticed left wing news wasn’t just facts, I felt it had strong weigh in towards negative tones. Not that I personally care, but just don’t claim to be an unbiased news outlet.
